🩺 Clinical Training Day Wrap-Up

Last week, we had the pleasure of delivering a valuable wound care training session for the amazing nursing team at My Flex Health.

Our Clinical Educator Siobhan from Kalkoup Community Care led an in-depth session covering wounds management, including debridement and cellulitis, with the Hartmann Zetuvit range showcased as a key solution.

We were also joined by Ellen from Essity, who provided an insightful overview of compression therapy and the JOBST range of compression garments.

It was a fantastic morning with an engaged and enthusiastic group of nurses committed to strengthening their clinical practice and patient care.

A huge thank you to Shani Elwis from Hartmann for delivering the final session in our Community Nurse Training series at In One Healthcare last week.

It was an engaging, hands-on morning where we not only learned valuable skills but had plenty of fun practicing compression techniques together.

We’re grateful for the ongoing partnership and the opportunity to support community nurses with practical, confidence-building training.

Surgical House had an absolute blast celebrating the festive season at the Saba Rose Button All Abilities Christmas Party over the weekend! 🎄✨

It was a joy to see families come together at Adventure World for a day packed with rides, water slides, face painting, laughter, and even a special visit from Santa himself. The atmosphere was full of connection, inclusion, and pure holiday cheer.

A big thank you to the Saba Rose Button Foundation for the invitation. Serge and Mel were proud to represent Surgical House on the day and loved being part of such a meaningful community event.

We’re honoured to continue supporting the incredible work the Foundation does for children and families with additional needs. ❤️

🌏 This week we celebrated International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) — a day dedicated to promoting inclusion, connection, and community.

Our NSW/ACT/QLD BDM Cassandra joined the celebrations at the Unisson Disability Fun Fair at Gosford Showground, where the day was filled with joy, colour, and plenty of fun. From carnival games and a petting zoo to face painting, a dunk tank, and live performances, the event brought people together to celebrate diversity and the strengths of people with disability.
