🚗💙 We love taking our training on the road!

Yesterday, the Surgical House team had the pleasure of delivering valuable continence and skin integrity training to the wonderful Support At Home Care Coordinators at Dovida Perth North East.

We were proud to be supported by Hartmann MoliCare and Ego Pharmaceuticals, helping ensure attendees received practical, evidence-based insights they can apply straight away.

We’re excited to introduce Tabea, who has been part of the Surgical House family for nearly two years 💙

With a background spanning marketing and administration, Tabea brings experience from non-profit marketing, a B2B agency, and admin roles across the mining, tourism, and education sectors 🌏 Her versatility shines through in the many ways she supports our team and customers every day 🙌

From customer service and answering calls 📞 to booking JOBST fitting appointments, supporting accounting and operations, organising events 🎉, managing office supplies, assisting with East Coast deliveries 📦, and creating marketing materials — no two days look the same for Tabea!

✨ Meet Craig! ✨

We’re proud to introduce Craig, our Operations Manager at Surgical House 💙

Craig has been part of the Surgical House family for an incredible 19 years — and his career in the medical industry began straight out of high school 📦🏥 Starting in a warehouse role with pharmaceutical family company L.J. Cottman, Craig built strong foundations in warehousing, stock control, and eventually purchasing management.

In 2007, Craig joined Surgical House to help establish our ERP procurement systems — a challenge he couldn’t refuse 💪 Since then, he’s taken on a range of roles across the business and moved into Operations in 2011. Today, Craig plays a vital role in ensuring our day-to-day operations run smoothly by understanding what’s working, what’s not, and working closely with his team to continuously improve processes and solve problems.

🗣 In Craig’s own words:

With nearly 20 years (good lord) of company knowledge, I’m one of a couple of go-to people when things need a quick fix.

I genuinely value the culture Surgical House has fostered over the years, and how closely the company’s values align with my own.

We or our loved ones will experience illness in some form throughout our lives. Being part of a company that supports people with compassion and empathy during those times is important to me 💙

This week, we’re proud to stand with tube feeding families, clinicians and carers as part of Feeding Tube Awareness Week (FTAW) — a time to raise awareness, share knowledge and remind people that no one is on this journey alone 🤍

Tube feeding (also known as enteral nutrition) provides essential nourishment for people who are unable to eat or drink by mouth, or who need extra nutritional support. People of all ages may use feeding tubes — from babies and children to teens and adults — and every journey is unique 🌈

At Surgical House, we’re here as part of your support team. We work closely with clinicians and families to help make tube feeding a little easier, offering guidance, products and practical support along the way 💬🫶
