What a fantastic session we hosted today at the Surgical House Community Training Hub! 💛

A big thank you to Louise Murray, APD — Founder, Aged Care Dietitian and Dietitian Mentor at Nosh Dietitians Co. — for delivering such an engaging and highly practical workshop: From Standards to Practice: Aged Care Workshop for Dietitians 👏

This interactive, skills-focused session equipped attendees with practical tools and confidence to help drive meaningful change in aged care, supporting improved food and nutrition outcomes across both residential facilities and home settings 🏡🏥

One of the highlights of the day was the hands-on opportunity for attendees to “try something new” 🍽️✨ from the range provided by Surgical House’s trusted nutrition suppliers, who joined us to support the session.

🌟 What a fantastic morning with Essity ! 🌟

Today we were proud to host an Essity workshop featuring the wonderful Emma Hall, Clinical Nurse Specialist in wound care and vascular health at Whanganui Hospital, New Zealand.

Emma delivered an incredibly comprehensive and practical session on best-practice management for complex wounds commonly seen across community and aged care settings. Her guidance on wound care fundamentals and compression therapy for hard-to-heal wounds was truly invaluable. 💙🩹

Our attendees also enjoyed a delicious morning tea 🍰 while hearing from Megan Shannon, our National Customer Care Manager, who introduced Surgical House’s new range of Essity/Jobst compression garments along with our free fitting service now available in our Osborne Park showroom (bookings essential). 🧦✨
