Hi Everyone
I hope you are coping well with the chaos the Coronavirus has thrown us all. As you may know, the Prime Minister has announced that Physiotherapists can continue their services to patients especially in times when we believe our patients may deteriorate without essential care.
Our primary focus at the clinic is on the health and welfare of the staff, clients and the community. In accordance with the Australian Government guidelines, we have implemented the following precautions and hygiene strategies to safeguard all staff and clients and mitigate the risk of COVID-19.
- Hand sanitiser is provided at the reception desk for your use. You will be required to sanitise your hands before you enter and as you leave the clinic.
- Disposable, single use, paper face sheets are routinely used. In addition, the treatment table is cleaned with a hospital grade Vira-Clean disinfectant after each treatment session.
- All surfaces, particularly door handles and all work tops are disinfected regularly throughout the day.
- As your therapist, I wash my hands with soap and water after each treatment session.
- I am happy to wear disposable gloves if you would prefer.
- Limit of 1 person to enter the treatment room per session.
Personal towels are laundered after each treatment session.
I understand that some individuals are in a high-risk category and will distance and isolate themselves as much as possible. If you are at high-risk, but in need of Physiotherapy advice, I will be available for Telehealth consultations. Please feel free to contact me anytime in regards to this.
Otherwise, I will be available by appointment at the clinic on Tuesdays & Thursdays.
