Pain, stiffness, or just feeling a bit “not quite right”?

Osteopathy is about helping your body move and function the way it’s meant to. Through hands-on treatment and practical advice, we work to support your body so you can keep doing the things you enjoy.

If something’s been bothering you for a while, it might be worth getting it checked.

Today is International Women’s Day.

Most years we like to look back and recognise some of the influential women who helped shape osteopathy - pioneers like Anne Wales and Viola Frymann who played an important role in the development of the profession.

But this year we thought we’d look a little closer to home.

The future of osteopathy is being shaped every day by the next generation of women in the profession, and we’re incredibly lucky to have three of them right here at On The Mend Health.

Erin, Sarahjane and Alice - thank you for the care, dedication and skill you bring to the clinic and to your patients every day.

Women have been at the forefront of osteopathy since the early days of the profession, and you're doing us proud by continuing that tradition of excellence in healthcare.

Happy International Women’s Day.

Feel free to send them some love in the comments today 💛

A quick Friday night check-in 🌙

Been a long week? 😫

How is your body actually feeling right now? 🧐

Not how you think it should feel. Not how it felt last week. Today 🤔

If something has been building - tightness, stiffness, or just not quite feeling like yourself - it’s often easier to address it sooner rather than later 💡

A few appointments are still available tomorrow - book online anytime 💻

Ever feel like you can’t even enjoy a coffee without someone eyeing it off? ☕️👀

This is Rob’s son Rohan at 5 months old – looking like it’s legally his.

We absolutely love our kids, but let’s be honest – life with little ones can be relentless.

If you’re running on caffeine and broken sleep and your neck or shoulders are starting to feel it, that’s usually your body asking for some support.

As the Perth mornings start cooling off, coffee helps… but so does looking after yourself with some osteo treatment.

What a week that was!!

Watching 12 professional and 150 amateur dancers come together for three incredible days of performances in Forrest Place for was an absolute delight – and an honour to support.

Huge thanks to and for involving us in this powerful Boris Charmatz experience. We loved being part of it.

Last day of “summer”… by whose definition anyway? ☀️

In Perth we all know the heat hangs around long after the calendar flips – and right now we’re actually in Bunuru, the Noongar season of hottest days and warm nights.

Here’s a little snapshot of some of the run, sun and summer fun the OTMH crew have packed in over the past few months 🔥🏃‍♂️🌊

Bring on the long warm evenings 🏝️

One of the best parts of working in a great team is learning from each other every day.

Sharing ideas. Refining technique. Raising standards together.

That’s how we make sure every patient gets our best 💚

Sarahjane spent this weekend deep in the world of cranial osteopathy with Dr Lisa DeStefano - two full days of refining touch, learning new techniques and diving deeper into the subtleties of osteopathic care.

There is something special about stepping out of clinic, learning alongside passionate practitioners, and coming back with fresh perspective and renewed focus.

A few snaps here with our good friend Addison from - always good to share the learning journey.

Day 1 of OTMH looking after the dancers of the CERCLES XXL workshop.

Over the next three days, we’ll be providing osteopathic care and advice to 12 professional and 150 amateur dancers during rehearsals in the incredible Winthrop Hall at UWA.

Then it’s showtime - three days of performances in Forrest Place.

It’s a free open-air event and we’re proud to be partnering with to support the artists behind it.

If you’re in the city from Thursday onwards, come down and check it out.

A big happy 4-0 to our charismatic Colombian, Alvaro 🎉

Celebrating in style with his husband and visiting mum, sister and brother-in-law from Melbourne – in true Alvaro style, we were treated to a night of incredible food, live music, dance performances and great company 💚

Honestly, he doesn’t look a day over 30… just don’t tell him we said that 🤫

From all of your patients and the OTMH team, we hope you have an amazing birthday today Alvaro 🤩

One of the most common things we hear in clinic:

“I didn’t injure it… it just gradually tightened up.”

No single moment. No obvious cause. Just a slow build-up until one day your neck won’t turn properly, or your back feels stiff getting out of the car.

Your body is very good at adapting, but that also means it quietly absorbs stress and load over time.

Most people don’t realise how much tension they were carrying until it’s gone.

If something has been quietly tightening up, it’s worth paying attention to.

Happy Lunar New Year 🧧 🐎

The horse represents strength, endurance, and freedom of movement - something we’re passionate about helping our patients preserve every day.

Whether it’s returning to running, staying comfortable through pregnancy, keeping up with your kids, or simply moving without pain, it’s a privilege to be part of that journey.

Wishing you a year of good health, momentum, and moving well!
