Female Disability Support Worker – Dementia Care (Participant-Requested)

Location: Ellenbrook , WA
Organisation: Inclusive Care Pty Ltd

Immediate Start Available

Inclusive Care is currently seeking an experienced Female Disability Support Worker to support a participant living with dementia.

This is a participant-requested female support worker position in line with the participant’s personal care preferences and support needs.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must have:
• ✅ Demonstrated experience supporting clients with Dementia
• ✅ Current Insulin Administration Training & Competency
• ✅ Current Asthma Management Training
• ✅ Full Medication Administration Competency
• ✅ Experience with complex health supports
• ✅ NDIS Worker Screening Check
• ✅ Working With Children Check (if applicable)
• ✅ Current First Aid & CPR
• ✅ Valid Driver’s Licence & reliable vehicle

Key Responsibilities
• Personal care and hygiene assistance
• Dementia-specific behavioural support strategies
• Blood glucose monitoring & insulin administration
• Asthma monitoring and response management
• Safe medication administration (oral and PRN)
• Community access and daily living assistance
• Accurate documentation and incident reporting

About You

You are:
• Calm, patient and compassionate
• Experienced in dementia communication strategies
• Confident managing diabetes and respiratory conditions
• Skilled in medication administration under NDIS guidelines
• Reliable and able to work within a structured care plan
