Hard truthâŚ
My digestion didnât improve because of another supplement.
Or another âperfectâ diet.
It improved when I finally stopped living in a rush.
No more bloating.
No more IBS.
No more feeling like my body was working against me.
And I kept asking myself⌠why?
Because I stopped eating on the go.
Because I gave myself permission to pause.
Because I created space to actually be with my food.
And that changed everything.
Your gut doesnât just respond to what you eat.
It responds to the state youâre in when you eat.
When youâre rushing, scrolling, standing, multitaskingâŚ
your body is in fight-or-flight.
And in that state?
Digestion literally shuts down.
It doesnât matter how âhealthyâ your food is.
Your body is not receiving it.
But when you slow downâŚ
when you breatheâŚ
when you tell your body âI am safeââŚ
You shift into parasympathetic mode.
Rest and digest.
Thatâs where healing begins.
So I stopped:
⢠Eating on the go
⢠Eating with my phone or TV
⢠Drinking while rushing meals
⢠Standing and rushing through food
And I started:
⢠Saying gratitude before meals
⢠Chewing slowly and intentionally
⢠Tasting my food
⢠Sitting down and being present
⢠Giving myself space without pressure
It sounds simple.
But most people will ignore itâŚ
and keep looking for another quick fix.
