Due to Growth within the business Reliable Disability Services one of Western Australia’s leading providers of residential and in-home disability support, is seeking an experienced Workforce Rostering Officer to join our team.
This role is critical to support Reliable Disability Services in providing the services our participants need and ensuring efficient service delivery.
Working as part of the team the Rostering & Administration Officer, reporting to the Services Manager ensure staffing requirements meet the needs of our participants.
The Rostering & Administration Officer builds strong relationships across Reliable Disability Services staff and ensures great communication with all staff via phone or face to face in support of rostering issues.
The ideal candidate should be solutions focused and data driven and strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
You will be responsible for:
Overseeing the organization rostering function by managing rostering templates, rolling over employee rosters and manage shift swaps and changes on a daily basis.
Ensuring that shifts are filled in a timely manner.
Auditing timesheets weekly for payroll processing.
Consulting with our Senior Leaders to roster and forecast for the occurrence of approved annual leave requests.
Providing advice to our Senior Leaders on our Industrial Relations obligations we must meet and make recommendations on the most efficient and cost-effective rostering model for the organisation.
Participate in staff recruitment and induction.
Maintaining accurate and timely documentation.
Building, generating and running reports.
Responding to and appropriately managing employee queries in regard to their rosters.
Any other duties as may be assigned to you by your supervisor
Requirements for the role:
1-3 years’ experience coordinating rostering services.
Recognized qualification in human resources and or administration
A strong understanding of the Fairwork Award MA000100
Knowledge of NDIS funding, price guide and Service Agreements, Community Access & SIL highly regarded
Highly developed analytical skills with the ability to manipulate and analyse raw data and present the analysis in an appropriate manner.
Strong prioritisation skills with a proven ability to manage workload in order to achieve business outcomes.
Well developed problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis.
Well developed written and verbal communication skills, including negotiation.
Good interpersonal skills
Pre-employment checks required:
Current C or A class drivers licence.
Current Working with Children’s card or willing to obtain one.
Current National Police Check no older than 3 months.
