**Support Worker – Northam or York Region**
Are you passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives? We’re looking for caring, reliable, and motivated individuals to join our team as Support Workers in the Northam or York region.
**About the Role**
As a Support Worker, you’ll provide practical assistance, emotional support, and day-to-day guidance to individuals living with disabilities, mental health challenges, or those needing extra support to live independently. No two days are the same you’ll help people build skills, achieve personal goals, and stay connected within their community.
**What You’ll Do**
• Provide person-centred support in the home and community
• Assist with daily living tasks (meal prep, household tasks, personal care depending on needs)
• Encourage independence and social participation
• Support clients in achieving individual goals and maintaining wellbeing
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow support plans
• Work collaboratively with families, carers, and team members
**What We’re Looking For**
• Genuine passion for helping others
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliability, patience, and a positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
• Experience in support work or community care (desirable)
• Relevant qualifications or willingness to undertake training
