Today, 25 November, we recognise the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
Women and girls with disabilities experience higher rates of violence yet face the greatest barriers to support.

This year’s theme, "Towards Beijing+30: UNiTE to End Violence Against Women and Girls”, calls for stronger protection, survivor-centred services and real accountability.

At FAS Foundation, we stand with women and girls with disabilities, advocating for safety, inclusion, and a future free from violence.
Everyone deserves to live with dignity, respect and equal protection.

We must act together.

International Men’s Day is a moment to recognise men’s health and wellbeing, particularly for men with disability, who often face additional challenges in staying healthy, connected and supported.

At FAS Foundation, we walk alongside men of all ages as they build confidence, independence and the routines that help them thrive.
Through therapy, supported living, community support, we see how the right support network can open doors and make everyday goals achievable.

Every day, our team witnesses the impact of consistent, person-centred support, from strengthening daily living skills and creating safe, accessible environments, to building meaningful relationships with support staff who genuinely care.

Today, we celebrate the strength, resilience and individuality of the men in our community.
Happy International Men’s Day from FAS Foundation.

🧼💧Global Handwashing Day! 💧🧼

Hands up if you've washed your hands today! 🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️

At FAS Foundation, we know that good hand hygiene isn’t just about staying clean, it’s about keeping our participants, staff, and community safe, healthy, and empowered.

Whether you're out in the Perth community, at home, or receiving supports, handwashing is one of the easiest and most effective ways to prevent the spread of infection.

We’re proud to promote independence and well-being by helping our NDIS participants build great daily habits, like washing hands the right way, at the right times 🧼👐

Let’s work together to protect ourselves and each other, one clean hand at a time 💙
