That's why I focus on building a caring and authentic therapeutic relationship with you. I operate from an holistic and humanistic therapy model that allows you to lead the counselling experience. I am guided by your needs so I can create a safe place for you to explore. I'm a qualified counsellor offering individual counselling to explore relationship struggles, parenting issues or concerns and generally the things that are keeping you from living a fulfilling life. Indeed 👍 Distress is contextual. Of course there is always going to be someone in the world who’s ‘got it worse’ but it doesn’t matter. For the person in front of you ‘this’ is upsetting, traumatic, annoying…whatever it is doesn’t matter. It’s the way it makes a person feel.

will have us believe cannot cope with anything that we haven’t planned for.
Excessive controlling and planning gives a sense of comfort but it isn’t a helpful way of managing anxiety.
