Happy lunar new year!

It’s the year of the horse but it’s also a new moon phase.

A new moon means you can set those new intentions (just like what most do on January 1st). This also means you can reset if you’ve fallen off the bandwagon 😉

So there’s no excuse not to ‘get back on the horse’ and make some New Years and new moon resolutions.

This cute little guy really wanted to make sure he got the selfie right.

Sorry, I won’t be at the Auscycling MTB Enduro Nationals this year.

I’ve had a few people asking if I’m back in Collie this year but unfortunately I won’t be setting up in race village.

If you need some patching up or advice, I will be catching some of the action on Thursday and Sunday and will have some tape and cups on hands just flick me a message on messenger or Insta.

Alternatively, the Dōjō (located in Perth metro, Kelmscott), although fully booked, will have some limited availability for riders Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday this week.

Recovery appointments available Monday and Tuesday next week by contacting Heather.

Looking forward to watching the action. Let’s go enduro! Yew!

You can order via contacting me on text or email and collect at an organised time or you can purchase when you are at your appointment.

In clinic tester product of Premax recovery cream, warm up cream, chamois cream and sports sunscreen.

Other products include RockTape, cork massage balls, bath salts, Pickle Juice, supplements, heat packs with washable covers, essential oil blends.

In 2020 a study concluded that myofascial decompression (cupping therapy with active movement) had a significant effect on the flexibility of hamstrings.
The study also concluded that self management of foam rolling and heat application also improved hamstring flexibility but cupping therapy had a greater positive effect.

Winter is back in full swing but it’s always warm in the Dōjō.

Every winter when the temperature drops and the sun no longer warms the cold days, the treatment table gets a winter upgrade and becomes a heated table! 🔥

Paired with an increase in temperature from the reverse cycle unit and cooking hot stones in the corner, the Dōjō is the place to spend some time.

Please let me know when you arrive if you prefer it warmer or cooler as I am happy to adjust to your comfort levels.
