The clinic will be closed from 12:30pm Wednesday 24.12.25 (Christmas Eve) and will reopen on Monday 05.01.26.

Mr Ponosh is currently overseas and will be returning on Tuesday 06.01.26

For any urgent vascular issues your medical practitioner can contact his colleague Dr Sieunarine via the Hollywood Private Hospital switchboard. Alternatively, please present to your closest Emergency Department.

Well that’s a wrap for 2025!
Last cases, last clinic, last consult seen today.
It’s been an amazing year with the trials, tribulations, successes and joy that makes being a Vascular Surgeon the absolute honour it is.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed to supporting my patients and myself this year. May everyone have the rest they deserve, joy they have earned and a peaceful Christmas and festive season.

Remembrance Day. Today we pause to remember the courage, sacrifice, and legacy of those who served.
Lest we forget. 🌺 I had the privilege of being given one of the most amazing and cherished gifts from a grateful patient (a retired Australian Army archivist from her private collection) a few months ago of a ANZAC Rising Sun Hat badge she found in excavations at Shrapnel Gully from the Gallipoli campaign. This badge was warn in combat over 100 years ago on hallowed ground and is caked in that mud … I will always be in awe of this gift and the sacrifice it represents.

It’s a wrap …. Last (planned) day of the year done. A lazy carotid endarterctomy, femorodistal bypass and a few skin grafts. A huge thank you to my team … it has been a massive year and I am only a strong as the parts of it. From my secretaries, sonographers and practice manager in the rooms; to the nurses in theatre, angiosuite and the ward; to my anaesthetists and my sidekick Dr Vares …. I’m and very grateful and lucky to have them. I hope everyone has a safe, relaxing and stressfree festive season! Merry Christmas 🎄
