We are grateful for the trust, kindness, and support that surround our home every day. To our residents, thank you for the stories, wisdom, and smiles you share with us. To our Board Members, staff, families and loved ones, thank you for being such an important part of our home. And to our local State Member and Minister for Aged Care, Simone McGurk MLA, thank you for your continued support.

So good to catch up with the hardworking Board at the Italian Village Fremantle today.

The success of this aged care facility in Freo is a real credit to the leadership of these folks. 👏

Exciting News from the IVF Team ✨🍴

🌟 Meet Our "Food Enjoyment Chef"! 🌟

As the title suggests, our new chef, Rapha, is here to bring joy to our residents with delicious treats and finger foods prepared daily right here amongst our residents living areas, in our satellite kitchens, balconies, courtyards, gardens, and throughout the Village! 🍴🌿

We’re beyond excited to introduce Chef Rapha to our incredible catering team! 🎉👨‍🍳 He’s passionate about creating mouthwatering food and is eager to connect with our residents, learning about their favorite recipes and bringing those cherished flavors to life. His weekly cooking classes are also very popular. Residents are invited and supported to cook their favorite dishes, learn a new dish from our Brazilian chef or simply eat his mouthwatering treats !

We are currently working to establish a proper outdoor cooking stations and improved seating and dinning arrangements.
This finger food provision is an addition to all the delicious meals and snacks prepared by our head chef Chris! we are certainly very lucky to have a great catering team. Maggie Beer watch out !

We invite all our visitors to come by, introduce themselves to Chef Rapha, and welcome him to our community. Don’t miss the chance to taste his delightful creations—you're in for a real treat! 😋🍽️

🌟 What a special day! 🌟 We were honored to welcome Bishop Guglielmo from Italy, who celebrated a heartfelt Mass for our elderly residents at the Italian Village Fremantle!

It was a beautiful occasion filled with love, prayer, and connection. Thank you to everyone who joined us in making this event so memorable!

🎉✨ It was a magical & a Happy Friday at IVF! We were thrilled to have a talented Lebanese belly dancer join us for some unforgettable entertainment. Her vibrant energy and stunning moves brought smiles and joy to everyone. 💃❤️

Residents enjoyed the beautiful music and mesmerizing performance, and many even joined in the fun! It was a wonderful blend of cultures that reminded us all of the joy in sharing our traditions.

A huge thank you to our dancer for lighting up the room and to everyone who came out to enjoy the show! Here’s to more moments of joy and connection! 🌍💖

🎉🥳 Celebrating 50 Amazing Years! 🥳🎉
Saturday the 14th marked a truly special milestone for our beloved Italian Club Fremantle as we celebrated its 50th anniversary! 🎂✨ It’s been an incredible journey filled with memorable moments, incredible achievements, and, most importantly, the unwavering support of our amazing community.
A HUGE shoutout to the dedicated Committee and volunteers who have worked tirelessly behind the scenes. Fred Calginari, Dominic Rechichi, John Alberti, Tony Macri, Fil Lazzari & all, your passion and commitment have been the heartbeat of the club’s longevity. 🙌👏
We also want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Consolato d’Italia a Perth, Simone McGurk MLA and Josh Wilson MP, our local politicians whose support has been invaluable. Your belief in our mission and your continued advocacy have helped the community grow and thrive over the years. 🌟🤝

A new "Blue Zone" here in WA! Sardinia in Italy and the White Gum Valley in Australia ! 🎉 Let's Celebrate 100 Years of Life and Wisdom! 🎂 yesterday marked a remarkable milestone at the Italian Village Fremantle as we joyfully celebrate the birthdays of not one, not two, but SIX incredible souls turning 100 years young! 🌟🎈 Each of these remarkable individuals has graced us with their wisdom, laughter, and stories that span a century. Management and the Board of the Italian Village Fremantle, thank the residents, Families, Simone McGurk MLA, Josh Wilson MP, Hannah Fitzhardinge, Mayor of Fremantle, Channel 9, Consolato d’Italia a Perth, Franca Roberti (Radio Italia) and the Fremantle Herald Official who joined in honoring their journey, sharing in their joy, and showering them with all the love and warm wishes they truly deserve! 🎉🎁
