⬇️ MY WHY? ⬇️

As I'm laid up in bed away from the world, unable to move due to covid - I can't do much but process my thoughts. Sometimes this process is overwhelming and requires a big 'ol box of tissues or a lengthy Facebook post.

Going through life carrying the burden of trauma and living with anxiety has felt isolating. I didn't realize there was an entire community out there who shares similar experiences to mine. I have spent thousands of dollars sitting with many different therapists who very obviously read from the same textbook. Pushing their own agendas and giving me diagnosis after diagnosis that inevitably just supported big pharma. This approach of here is a pill full of harmful chemicals that will fix you just didn't seem right. Never once did they dive deep enough to figure out what was really going on.

I decided to stop supporting a billion-dollar industry whose objective was to make money off of keeping me sick. My cortisol levels were through the roof, and I needed to learn to self-regulate. As i went on my journey for a more natural and holistic approach to healing I stumbled across cacao ceremonies. The feeling of community in the room and being able to relate to others gave me this overwhelming sensation of "you're finally home, we see you and this is exactly where you need to be."

I went on to research exactly what this plant medicine can do for the human body & how transformative it is. My only goal is just to grow this amazing community and share this offering with others. Others who need a space where they can feel safe to heal, a place in which they can unburden themselves and not feel alone. Hello Tribe 🌻🌼 it's been a while! I have some exciting news to share. Healing With Holly Jo is embarking on a new journey towards healing. What started as a way to rest & reset has turned into a passion. I have attended many cacao ceremonies over the past years & found it one of the only places I could truly relax & reach a deep meditative state. As I wanted to share this with others, I decided to take a deep dive researching & became certified. It is with pure excitement that I can now offer these teachings to all.
