Happy New Year (again) 🐴!🧧🧨

Why do I hang the 福 upside down?

“福倒” (fú dào) literally means “fortune is upside down.”

But in Chinese, “倒” (dào, upside down) sounds the same as “到” (dào, arrive). So when people hang the character “福” (fortune/blessing) upside down, it creates a wordplay meaning:

✨ “Fortune has arrived.”

It’s a traditional symbol used during Lunar New Year to welcome blessings, prosperity, and good luck into the home.

Your Loyalty Card is Going DIGITAL! 🎉

We’re gradually moving the Entrusted Friend loyalty card from our old-school paper version to a digital document.

Carmen will still be the only person with access to manage your loyalty card. You can request access to your own digital loyalty card at your next visit. To access the document, you may need to provide a Google email address.

If you don’t have one, no worries! You can still ask about your points, and we’ll happily update you.

February trading hours will be slightly adjusted due to Carmen’s personal commitments (see image attached and our LIVE calendar). Booking in advance is essential.

Tue: CLOSED
Wed: CLOSED
Thu: 11:30am - 7:00pm
Fri: 12:00pm - 3:30pm
Sat: 10:00am - 6:00pm
Sun: 10:00am - 4:00pm

January and March hours are as usual.

As the year ends I just want to say a big thank you to all my clients, old and new. I’m really happy to see familiar faces, meet some new ones, and even have clients I haven’t seen for a long time come back, some even becoming regulars again. Thank you also for every referral, don’t be shy to keep sending them my way.

Rest is important, it helps me keep going. Like a rubber band, if you keep stretching without letting go eventually it can’t hold and will break.

A little personal share. 2025 was full of personal challenges but work kept moving forward. There were really tough moments when I had to decide whether to keep going or give up. I chose not to give up. I chose my clients, because you chose me. I believe in fate and connections. Words are never enough to say how grateful I am.

There are still a few appointments left before the year ends. Some health funds reset by calendar year so if you still have benefits to use now is a good time to book. But I totally understand if you’re busy, we’ll see each other next year.

Just a quick note about holiday closures: I will be closed on 24 to 26 December, 31 December, and 1 January.
