Hello everyone! I hope you had a wonderful festive season. I’ve noticed a common trend among my clients lately: increased leg discomfort, fluid retention around the calves and knees, shin pain, and swelling. This is often due to reduced activity, prolonged sitting, and holiday indulgences.

To support optimal lymphatic drainage and circulation, here are a few recommendations:

1. Elevation for Circulation: Elevate your legs to the level of your heart to enhance venous return and reduce edema. A great technique is to lie on your back with your legs up against a wall, hips close to the wall.

2. Compression Therapy: For those traveling or sitting for extended periods, compression socks can assist in maintaining proper blood flow and reducing swelling.

3. Gentle Movement and Stretching: Incorporate light activities, like walking or targeted stretches, to promote lymphatic flow and muscle flexibility.
