We’re excited to share that Richard Sibley will now be working at Lifecare Joondalup! Richard has been a valued member of the Lifecare team for many years and will be extending his expertise to support patients at our Joondalup clinic.

Richard is a highly experienced Senior Physiotherapist with expertise in managing acute and chronic pain, sports injuries, workers compensation, motor vehicle accidents, and hydrotherapy.

She’s back! 👋🏼

After a rewarding year on parental leave, Georgia Graffin has returned to Lifecare Kingsway physiotherapy part-time.

She is also balancing the completion of her masters degree in continence and pelvic health at Curtin, with mum life.

She is available for both musculoskeletal and pelvic health appointments on Mondays and Thursdays 8.20am - 3pm.

Are you getting back into exercise this year?

Here are some tips to help keep you moving all year long!

1️⃣ Set up a routine you can stick to
Figure out which days you have time to slot in exercise and book it in.

2️⃣ Gradually build up
Increasing activity by around 10% a week is about right for most people.

3️⃣ Keep things interesting and fun
There's no point doing exercise if you don’t enjoy it!

4️⃣ Get enough sleep
Studies have shown that fatigued athletes sustain more injuries, recover slower and perform worse than those who get their 8+ hours.

5️⃣ Keep moving throughout the day
Find ways to add extra movement to your day set a reminder to do a little stretch every 30 mins or so.
