Research into homeopathy is uncovering promising options for ongoing health benefits and cost savings!

A recent systematic review of 21 studies revealed that homeopathic treatment can deliver similar or even better clinical outcomes compared to conventional treatments, often at an equal or lower cost. In fact, over half of the studies have shown that homeopathy is effective, sometimes at a lower price.

Notably, the highest-quality economic evaluation to date looked at an over-the-counter homeopathic medicine, SilAtro-5-90. In the clinical trial, children and adults with moderate, recurring tonsillitis saw a reduction in throat infections, symptoms, and antibiotic use when homeopathy was used to support conventional treatment. For children under 12, the remedy always cut costs and infections, while for older kids and adults with severe tonsillitis, it helped avoid costly surgery.

Homeopathic treatment, when combined with conventional treatment, is cost-effective and clinically beneficial, especially when surgery is avoided and antibiotic use is reduced. These encouraging results suggest that homeopathy, when used thoughtfully alongside conventional care, offers real potential to manage health and healthcare costs sustainably.

Our Story - minimum dose maximum impact

Owen homoeopathics is a West Australian-owned company that specialises in the provision of single remedy homoeopathics and specialised kits for the public.

Owen homoeopathics and the Homoeopathic Education Centre are owned by Jan Owen – Homoeopath and former veterinary and dental nurse with many years’ experience. Jan and her team encourage and educate people, like yourself, in the use of remedies for themselves in a home prescribing situation.

As well as providing the Owen homoeopathics range, the Centre stocks a large range of Simplexes, Complexes and Remedy Kits, Reference Books, Biochemical Tissue Salts, Flower Essences and gifts (many of which you can order online). We offer limited attendance classes and provide quality over the counter advice at all times, as well as consultations by appointment.
