Infertility doesn’t just sit in the background of your life. It can take up space mentally, emotionally, and physically. The intensity of what you’re feeling isn’t weakness. It’s a human response to prolonged uncertainty and loss of control.

Support shouldn’t be an afterthought. The right kind, grounded in research and delivered safely, can make the process more sustainable. Not everything offered in this space is evidence-based, so it’s worth choosing carefully.

If this stage feels heavier than you expected, that’s something we take seriously.

Cheers to my gorgeous gal baristas this morning who bless me with my morning coffee (decaf almond latte if you are wondering). They asked me@what I do today so I told them! And it wasn’t about the , but rather that I walk beside women (and men) in their journey to be a mum. Isn’t it curious - despite studying medicine for nearly 2 decades, what I actually do is more about the mental and psychological journey…. . What do YOU want more from your fertility specialist??

Waiting for the “perfect” time to have a baby is deeply personal.

Career. Relationships. Travel. Financial stability. Health. There are so many moving parts - and there’s no universal timeline that fits everyone.

But like all good decisions, it helps to have the full picture.

A fertility check isn’t about pressure. It’s not about rushing you. And it’s certainly not about fear. It’s about information.

Understanding your ovarian reserve, hormone profile, and cycle patterns gives you clarity. It allows you to plan intentionally rather than react later under stress.

Your fertility changes with time - whether we talk about it or not. Knowing where you stand simply gives you options. And options are empowering.

If starting a family is something you think you might want one day, having that conversation sooner rather than later can make all the difference.

Knowledge doesn’t force a decision - it supports one. 💛

Curious what a fertility check actually involves? Let me know below.

After an ectopic pregnancy, questions about what’s still possible are very real.

Losing a tube doesn’t automatically mean IVF is the next step. The body can sometimes adapt in ways people aren’t told about, and fertility pathways remain individual.

What matters most is understanding your own situation before assuming what comes next.

A thoughtful Zoom conversation with Alice Domar on why patients step away from IVF.

Often it isn’t the treatment itself. It’s the emotional load around it.

Comment ❤️ for the full Q&A.

Some days in this work are long.

Some days are heavy.

And some days ask a lot of your heart.

So opening a personally addressed envelope after a really hard day - and reading words like this - makes it all feel worthwhile.

Being trusted with someone’s hope, their fear, and their future is never something I take lightly. Notes like this are a quiet reminder of why I do what I do, even on the hardest days.

Forever grateful for the women and families who allow me to walk beside them through such vulnerable chapters. 💛
