🧠🧬🩻 BODY WORLDS EXHIBITION PERTH 🩻🧬🧠
If you know me, one thing I love to geek out on is anatomy and physiology!🤓 so I was pretty pleased this finally came to Perth.
My faves of the day-
🔹Being reminded of how THICK glute max actually is 🥩
🔹Seeing how much of our whole bodies blood supply is needed in our brain- 20%!!!!
🔹The thickness of the fascia covering our lower back, sacrum and how it’s all so connected running down the side of the hip and leg… no wonder lower back/ hip/ knee pain can go so hand in hand and can create a domino effect of tissue grabbing and causing pain
🔹How wide the sciatic nerve actually is! In some people it’s literally the thickness of a finger. Explains why sciatic pain can be so awful when it’s being aggravated!
🔹My fave muscle- sternocleidastoid- and how wide/ thick the attachment is onto the mastoid process
🔹To see how flaky and weak the spine looks when riddled with degeneration (lift weights and look after your bone density people😝)
🔹The size/ thickness of the iliopsoas muscle!
ANATOMY IS FUN GUYS! 🧠🤪✨
