I’m Dr. Aimee, and I’m right there in the trenches with you. 👋✨

Between the school runs, the “mental load” of running a household, and the physical shifts that come with perimenopause—I know exactly what it feels like when your brain feels foggy and your to-do list feels endless.

I’ve spent over 16 years as a holistic Chiropractor, but my biggest lessons haven’t just come from textbooks.

They’ve come from raising 3 kids, running ultramarathons, and learning that in a world of “overcomplication,” simple always wins.

I don’t want to give you another “extra” thing to do. I want to help you find the simple pieces of the puzzle that actually fit your life, so you can feel grounded, energized, and understood again.

It’s not always about the best or fanciest cafe to work in. Or the place with the best aesthetics.

It’s simply about it being convenient. Which today means Dome cafe close to kids sports. Which means I can be more productive as I have more time.

This also goes for all things …. Such as when I talk about yoga and Pilates with clients. I often won’t recommend a certain studio for the to go to (unless they live close to the clinic … than I always recommend !). This is because exercise classes, yoga or Pilates, or whatever it is for you need to be convenient! Take away any possible resistance, like travel time to the studio, and you are more likely to actually go!

It’s the same as if you do a grocery shop and have all you need for the week in the fridge, you are more likely to take you lunch to work, and cook at home instead of takeaway.

❌It’s not about fancy.
✅It’s about convenient.
✅It’s about the least resistance.
✅It’s about just getting it done.

💦How much water have you had today?

This is your reminder to drink some now if you haven’t had much today! Sundays are sometimes hectic … run club, teeball, play dates…. And it’s easy to forget to drink whilst running about after all the kids.

And even if your day isn’t hectic, it can be so easy to forget the simple things like drinking water.

So if you are feeling a little flat, energy is going down, a slight dull achey headache is coming on, you are feeling hungry …. Maybe some water could help all those things!!

✅Grab some now and have a drink …. It’s the simple things that are easily forgotten but have a massive impact if you do them regularly ✨

Consistency ✅

What it doesn’t have to mean, is doing something every single day.

That seems hard.
Seems restrictive.
Has pressure.

So how about this …. Just don’t miss two days in a row.

You can have a day off. Miss a day. Sleep in. Go out too late dancing. Enjoy the champagne.

But don’t miss the next day too.

I love this as it takes off the pressure, make it simple.

✅Simple
✅Sustainable

Not sexy. Not some big fancy new idea.

But it works. Like most things with your health. Keep it simple and sustainable.

2025… man, it’s been a lot, hasn’t it?

I’m sitting here trying to find the right words to wrap it all up, but honestly, “quite the year” is the only thing that fits.

It felt fast, it felt heavy at times, and I know for so many of you, it was a year of just constantly trying to keep it all together after being hit with something else.

It has also felt fabulously slow and fun. And there has been so many amazing moments full of love and laughter, surprises and adventures.

I’ve been right there with you, navigating it all. I’ve seen you show up when things were blurry and keep going when you were tired. And I just wanted to say—I see you.

I’m so incredibly proud to have been apart of your 2025 year, even the parts that didn’t make the highlight reel. If anything, it means more to me to be part of the bits that don’t make the highlight reel. To support and be there for you in those low moments, it’s something I never take for granted, and it’s an honour.

Whether that’s as a client in the clinic, a friend, family, someone in my DM’s or simply the ones of you who read these and follow along from afar - THANK YOU for being part of my world in 2025, and for allowing me to have a little space in yours.

💜2026 - I am ready for you. Ready to integrate all that I have learnt in 2025, and ready for some fun and adventure. Ready to step up and change the space that is women’s health …. Are you along for the ride?

PS - I could have finished the year with a perfect photo from a photography session … but I decided a post run, sweaty selfie was way more time and the vibe I want 👌🏻

Thank you to all of you who have trusted me with your health this year, or simply just followed along and been reminded to drink some water 💦

Today I was reminded just how privileged I am. I had the absolute honour of being trusted to support a tiny little human, only 4 days old 💜 😍

For now, I’m signing off to enjoy some family time.

I’ll be back in the clinic Monday to help any of you who forget how old you are and try to jump on trampoline or rollerblades 🙈👌🏻🤪🤭

My fave lately is high protein yoghurt and hydrating my water from my soda stream. I find the bubbles help it feel a little fancier than “just water”

This morning’s tally? A 5am run (because when else?), admin squared away, lunchboxes done, the endless “where is the...” crisis (today’s victim: the netball shirt), bags packed for the straight-after-school sports dash, and somehow, we’re ready for the fourth sports carnival in three weeks to start the term off with a bang 🙈

If your to do list looks never ending, join the club. We are parenting at an Olympic level of chaos right now.

But look. Before the next set of doors flies open, the car becomes silent for a minute. This is it. 🚗☕️

This little car park moment, with your coffee going cold, is your survival pause. It’s not selfish; it’s the bare minimum you deserve.

🚘 The Car Office. It’s key to me getting things done between all the other things going on.

And I know I’m not alone!!

It’s great.
It’s convenient.
It’s flexible.

But it’s also important to remember to take a moment for you whilst in the middle of the chaos that is often occurring, which is why you are in the car office in the first place 🙈

Top 3️⃣ ways to remember to say yes to you whilst in the car office …
🚘 Remember your water bottle … and actually remember to drink some water not just carry around a heavy bottle that is full 🤦🏻‍♀️
🚘 Take a moment to close your eyes and breathe. Put your timer on for 2 minutes. Close those eyes and breathe. Slow and deep. Reset. It doesn’t take long and will make such a difference to your head space.✨
🚘 Be realistic! You will likely not be as productive in the car office so be kind to yourself and your stress levels and don’t plan too much, or important things that require a lot of mental energy when possible. Tick some easy things off your to do list …. Like a social media post 🙋🏻‍♀️
