Dara McAleer.. most of you know Dara or have spoken with her in some capacity over the last 7 years, but did you know...

7 years ago - Kathleen invited Dara to assist her with clients at Carmel School as a Therapy Assistant and commenced work as a Support Worker/ Therapy Assistant with Inside Out.

6 years ago - Whilst working as a Support Worker/ Therapy Assistant, Dara started working as an admin assistant at Inside Out Therapy, becoming an invaluable member of the team.

5 years ago - Her experiences in admin and as a therapy assistant sparked a passion for Occupational Therapy and Dara started working towards the degree at Curtin University.

4 years ago - Retained her title as State and National Champion in Irish Dancing, whilst studying.

3 years ago - Placed 2nd in the World Irish Dancing Championships Solo Division and became World Champion in Michael Flatley's Inaugural Freestyle competition!

2 years ago - Part of the OTX National Conference panel, representing the voice of the 13,000 OT students currently enrolled at universities across Australia. Became Admin Coordinator in addition to her ongoing role as Therapy Assistant.

January 2026 - Graduated from Occupational Therapy with First Class Honours. Commenced working as an Occupational Therapist and Coordinator of Partnerships & Engagement at Inside Out Therapy!

Merry Christmas to our lovely families and supporters from all of us here at Inside Out OT. We enjoyed a gorgeous team lunch and afternoon together last week, for those of our team who had not already left for holidays away, exciting times! Safe to say we all have our feet up now. Thank you for another magical year together and best wishes to you all ✨️🎄💕
