✨ Making mealtimes magical ✨
This unicorn-themed creation supported pressure-free, client-directed exploration of new foods, using a love of unicorns to spark curiosity and engagement. 🦄
Together, we explored new foods at their own pace:
🥕 Carrot
🍎 Apple
🥝 Kiwi
No pressure to eat — just looking, touching, smelling, and interacting. When children feel safe and in control, they’re more willing to explore and build positive experiences with food.
Playful, interest-based food activities can help:
✨ reduce mealtime anxiety
✨ increase willingness to interact with new foods
✨ support sensory exploration
✨ build positive food relationships
Because sometimes the first step isn’t tasting… it’s just playing.
