There’s an electric quality in the air for the New Moon Aries today (7:52pm in Perth). Aries is the fire starter, the first sign of the zodiac. It clears the way for the astrological new year. Do you feel like you are standing on the threshold of a raw new beginning? So much was achieved over the past twelve months. This New Moon is going to propel you to higher heights.

Aries works off deep inner instinct and the ability to take some risks without the self-doubt kicking in. Today, feel and follow, rather than think and grind to a halt. Aries brings bursts of motivation to make a change. This New Moon is asking you to take action to move past what is comfortable. It is not the moon for just wishing and wanting. Action-focused intention setting is needed to set you up for the year ahead.

If you are still waiting for the right time and aren’t ready yet, Aries will light a fire beneath you. This will turn things around. Your passion will be reignited. The thirst for new, exciting projects will push aside the ‘not ready’. If not now, then when?

Boundaries need to be strong. If what holds you back is saying yes to things that don't align with you, stop. Filter your dreams less to fit others' expectations. Honour your no as a complete sentence. Avoid justifying or writing essays on why you say no. Be prepared to face rejection and to hear no from others. These experiences help clear the way for your YES!

After the shift of eclipse season, it’s time for purposeful action in Aries season. Breathe deeply, change is underway.

Firstly, there is the Full Moon in Libra, either landing on the 1st or 2nd April (10:12am, Perth). Libra is an Air sign, so connecting with your breath is a great practice for building a relationship with this month’s element and with yourself. To do this now, pause for a moment, and take a few really deep breaths in and out. As you finish, notice how you feel.

Libra is calling all things back into harmony today. It is the sign of relationships and connection that seeks harmony when things are off kilter. The invitation is here to access what is not feeling right and out of whack in all your relationships. If there is stagnant energy building from unsaid conversations or a shift in boundaries, today’s moon is here to clear the way.

Relationships take work. Yes, sometimes they are effortless, but other times you can fall into a rut. It’s always a work in progress as you all evolve and grow. If something isn’t working for you, it is time to air your thoughts. It’s a two-way street, and a middle ground needs to be found to restore harmony. Aries brings self-focus, but Libra urges you to blend individual and collective needs. Fine-tune what your needs are, but also how you can support others in a reciprocal way.

Maybe the Full Moon is here to clear away cobwebs or do a deep clean. Use it to make way for the exciting astrological year ahead. The space needs to be made, as you’ll be bringing your desires into reality on the next New Moon on the 17th. Tidy up the loose ends and close off the loops to make the most of what is to come!

The final new moon of the astrological year is here. The New Moon in watery Pisces (Thurs, 9:23am in Perth) invites you to reflect on your experiences from the past twelve cycles. While new moons symbolise beginnings, this moment also carries a strong sense of completion. Tune into your feelings without overanalysing; Pisces energy encourages emotional awareness. Notice how your journey up to this point feels.

There is an invitation to soften this moon. Release all that is complete back to the ocean. It is not a day for forcing. Instead, find your flow. The eclipse season brought up many things for assessment. Listen to the nudges you know will bring great change, as old parts of you are washed away. You know deep down the patterns that can’t keep being repeated. Yet, they’ve managed to stay until now. Pisces is all about the water works. Emotional processing is a given. Let it flow. Feel the grief, the guilt, and the guidance these emotions bring.

What needs closing off to clear the way for some potent Pisces intentions?

Pisces is ruled by Neptune, the mystical planet. Spirit connection is strong today as the veils are thin. You may notice your intuition comes in quick and on point. Don’t ignore it. Pay attention to your dreams; there are messages being delivered. Trust what you are feeling and the deep knowing, even if it doesn’t make sense.

All these things will help you craft the intentions for how you would like to feel in this final cycle. If there are any intentions from previous moons that haven’t come into fruition, but still feel right, bring them into the mix. They might need reframing, or perhaps it’s time to let them dissolve.

Here it is, the total lunar eclipse and Full Blood Moon in Virgo (7:38pm, Perth). It’s time for a reboot and balance what is out of whack. Eclipse season has reason. It brings you back to your purpose, especially if you have wandered off track or ignored the nudges. In that case, it might feel like a pain in the butt inconvenience.

Be ready to receive! Manifestation power is quick right now, especially if it's intentional. Everything you have been working towards can fall into place once you’ve cleared some space. That is where Full Moon comes in.

Virgo is the sign to align and refine. It’s time to get things in order and identify where the energy leaks are. If you are scattered and still in winging-it mode, that is no longer sustainable. Virgo invites routines that replenish without being rigid. You need direction, but also not perfection. Striving is out, and soft surrender is in. In the past, hustle might have felt safe, but now it causes stress. It will take massive trust to surrender and soften this season. Your system might not be used to finding safety in stillness. That’s where practices focused on health will help replenish.

You can’t overthink your way through the current energy. It must be felt. What comes up for you when you are still? It will be hard to let go of the busy, fear will show and scream at you to get moving. See what happens on the other side of doing something nourishing, where the mind can take a step back.

Make a plan to get things in order in a way that is spacious, and you can get excited for what is next. That way, you can really embody not only the Full Moon but the past 18 years of the current eclipse season's learning.

𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗲 – 𝗠𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁

𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 is a time for connection, both internal and external, and for following your joy. This is a season to enjoy all that has come into fruition and to share it with others. Notice if sharing your abundance lights you up! However, summer is also a season of excess, so be mindful of excessive heat and excitement, which can lead to disharmony.

𝗠𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 is a wonderful shape to practice in summer, or anytime it is needed, as it focuses on the upper body and arms, where the Heart Meridian sinews are located. This passive inversion directs energy flow into the Heart and can help you connect deeply with your inner world. Observing inwardly builds a strong connection to yourself, which then assists in the outer world, making more sense.

𝗣𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆, therapeutic stress in the upper body, especially the chest and shoulders, can create a sense of spaciousness. It may also relieve tense shoulders and the stickiness around the chest area.

𝗧𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗔𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀: Chest, arms, front body; lower back compression; the Fire element, Heart and Small Intestine sinews and the Shen.

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝘀: Place a blanket under your knees or a bolster under your chest for comfort. Use a bolster or blocks under your elbows or wrists for more sensation. If your forehead does not touch the ground, rest it on a block or pillow. You can be unsupported if it helps find your edge (70/100 range).

𝗔𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗟𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀: Bend your elbows and bring your hands to the back of your neck. This adds sensation to the backs of the arms (triceps).

𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲: 5 to 8 minutes to observe the ‘melting’ effect. Always the option to come out early, especially if you’ve received what you need.

The Full Moon in Leo arrives on Sunday or Monday (6:09am, Perth). This is a chance to be bold and step forward. Leo is ruled by the Sun, the source of energy for our planet. Just as the Sun is essential, so are you. Are you holding back and afraid to let yourself shine?

Today’s Full Moon is illuminating all things, especially the hidden parts you’ve shoved down the back hoping to ignore. All is here to be seen, loved and held. Last month’s Full Moon invited you to observe what nourishes you, so now you can be in full power mode. It’s time to be brave. The Leo lion leads from the heart, which is the internal lighthouse guiding you forward into the space you came here to take up. Your dimmer switch is turned up high. Can you have the courage to be seen?

Let go of the outside expectations that have shaped you so far. Think about whether you’ve been measuring your life by what others value or by seeking their approval. These standards can hold you back. It’s okay if you followed them before; you learned a lot. Now, this Full Moon helps you return to your own truth and what lights you up.

Instead of thinking your way through this cycle, how does it feel? Have the courage to get uncomfortable. Those hidden parts will start to protest and want to stay away. Can you bravely sit with and hold what is arising to be seen? Notice where you feel the discomfort in your body and quietly acknowledge it for showing up. It may reveal why you’ve kept parts of yourself hidden and afraid to take centre stage.

Aquarius season encourages you to reconnect with your unique qualities. You have gifts to share with others. Leo helps you find the courage to step into your power and let yourself be seen. The collective will benefit from your light shining brightly as much as you will.

This Full Moon invites you to let go of anything that keeps you from shining as brightly as you can. Be brave, bold, and brilliant.

𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗲 – 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱’𝘀 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗲

𝗔𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘂𝘀 is the humanitarian Air sign that always seeks to serve the greater good. It is generous and compassionate to the cause. Aquarius closely observes where its energy is needed the most and goes all in to share. As the quirkiest and 'out there' sign of the zodiac, Aquarius encourages your unique self to lead the way.

In the body, Aquarius governs the 𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺. It’s important, given all the good work and connections, to ensure the nervous system is functioning optimally.

𝗬𝗶𝗻 is great for grounding and regulating after a day of being in service to the world and finding innovative new ways. A 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱’𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲 offers a place to land and be held. The therapeutic stress to the lower body, knees, ankles, inner thighs, and hips brings the grounding aspect of self-regulation. Having the chest facing down towards the earth allows your system to settle, and you may feel your eyes start to effortlessly close (it’s okay to keep them open, too!). Allowing the chest to be fully supported by the soft prop can feel like a hug and is also great for self-soothing.

𝗧𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗔𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀: Lower body - knees, ankles, inner thighs, and hips. Depending on props/variations, some sensation into the spine, shoulders, and upper body/neck.

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝘀: Place a blanket under your knees. You can also roll it under your ankles. For nervous system support, use a bolster under the torso. You can raise it on blocks for a steeper ramp. If you have two bolsters, straddle one or place it between the calves and hips. This takes pressure off the knees and makes the shape more restorative, which helps downregulate and nourish. Rest your forehead on a cushion or blanket placed on a block to keep your head neutral.

𝗔𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗟𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀: If you turn your head to one side, try switching direction halfway. You can hug the bolster with your arms or bring them back behind you.

𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲: 5 to 10 minutes or however long you wish to stay to return to your centre.
