One week in Albany spent well, sharing stories, facilitating workshops, creating safe spaces, and educating the community. I spent the week supporting Working alongside a group of incredible advocates, that all came together for one mission. Each and every one of us have come from different areas of life and share unique perspectives allowing our lived experience to be stronger, and more impactful together. I am feeling grateful to have met every single person that made up this team. ✨

Vid pretty much explains it, but HTBW Community was created by me… someone who’s been through it. I’ve lived these challenges that so many continue to face, & now I want to support you as you navigate through. The community is there to support, and empower each and every person with whatever it is they need support with.

We are ready to meet you wherever you’re at. Link in bio x

Reminder that it’s part of the human experience to FEEL. Let it out, give yourself permission to feel, without guilt.

Less suppression = less depression…
But seriously, the power of just letting it out is incomparable. Write it out, speak it out, draw it out whatever feels right for you… just get it out into the world. Holding on to heavy emotions increases stress, intensity, and overwhelm. Take the time to feel and understand your emotions, working through them and expressing them helps you regulate, and gauge a clearer understanding of the reality of the situation.

Be brave and chat it out (or write) 🫡💕

My coco girl has been through it all. Endless hugs and kisses on the days that it most mattered. Pets are so much more than just company, they’re family, they’re love, and they’re part of your support system. Thank you for always listening and never judging.

Happy 105th birthday old girl. You’re the best girl the world ⭐️❤️‍🩹

A little chat on antidepressants. Yes they work for some. Yes they don’t for others. Both are okay.

Everyone’s recovery journey is going to be unique and will require a personalised approach to help them heal based on a large number of factors. Let’s not isolate our own experiences and normalise them for others. Your journey is yours and only yours.

Keep following your path, and stay open minded to exploring all possibilities. Everyday is one step closer to finding your answers. Be proud of that ❤️‍🩹
