“I’m used to waiting around for therapy, but it was nice to have company.”

For Janelle O’Brien, mum to two boys with ASD and ADHD, seeking support can often feel lonely. Recently, she drove hundreds of kilometres from Geraldton to Perth so her boys could access therapy at Lady Lawley Cottage and in between sessions, she connected with another mum.
“It was actually really nice to engage with her,” Janelle says.

Lady Lawley Cottage is all about creating a safe, welcoming space where WA families living with disability can feel supported and connected. Our respite accommodation is set to open in the new year, and with your help, we can create a warm and inclusive space where parents can connect and families can find the village they need.
