A huge thank you to Australian Red Cross - Bindaring Clothing Sale, whose annual pre‑loved clothing sale helped to fund important refurbishments to Lady Lawley Cottage in 2025. These refurbishments are vital in helping us to deliver dedicated disability support to children and young people.

Recently we welcomed Bindaring volunteers, including some of the founding members onsite so that they could see the impact of their generosity.

We’re incredibly grateful for their support and looking forward to continuing this partnership together!

Embark on an EPIC quest as Dungeons and Dragons returns! 🐉🎲

Starting this April school holidays, we're looking for adventurers aged 12 and over to join our quests in Joondalup. Both newcomers and experienced players are welcome!

In April, you'll create your own character and commence a 4-hour campaign to save Fuzzytail Farm. We'll dive into a full-length quest in May, where you'll take part in a harrowing western adventure. 🧑‍🌾🐎

This year’s theme, 'Together against loneliness', is something Neil and Fenton, two of our supported accommodation customers are embodying every single day.
Whether they’re heading out for a bike ride, catching waves, laughing over a cheeky joke, or spending time with the people who love and support them, they’re always surrounded by people who lift them and each other up.

A birthday surprise like no other! 🚒🎉

Shaun celebrated his 48th with a visit from the Wanneroo Fire Brigade, organised by our amazing supported accommodation team. From meeting the crew to trying the fire hose and even hearing the sirens, it was a day he won’t forget anytime soon. 🧑‍🚒🔥

Shaun’s love for fire engines made this moment extra special, and he shared it with his family, his housemates, and the Rocky Bay team.

Did you know you swallow 500–700 times a day without even thinking about it?

For over 1 million Australians living with swallowing difficulties, also known as dysphagia, swallowing isn’t automatic, it’s a daily challenge that can affect safety, independence, and quality of life.

Today is Swallowing Awareness Day and we sat down with our Speech Pathologist, Jade Champion, to unpack what dysphagia really looks like and how small changes can make a big difference.

This April school holidays, let imaginations run wild with our creative, hands-on therapy group where LEGO® fun meets real skill-building.

Green thumbs at work! 🌸🌱

Supported accommodation customer Jen spent a sunny morning gardening with lead support worker Temily. From spreading the potting mix to planting the flowers and watering them in, Jen did an amazing job bringing the planter box to life with her chosen flowers.

She was so proud of her work and couldn’t wait to show her housemates Sandra and Susie the finished result. 🌼🌷
