Since 1991 We have performed over 60,000 sight restoring operations, screened over 1.2 million patients, and given out more than 546,000 prescription glasses.

We provide Sight Restoration Surgery and Blindness Prevention, Prosthetic Eyes and Technology Transfer Services free of charge to those in need from our base in Sanur, Bali, Indonesia. Our goal is to eliminate curable blindness in Indonesia. Your support can help us reach this goal. Donate here:

Meet Dr Dharyata, a Balinese ophthalmic surgeon who has been part of JFF’s mission since 1991. He performs sight-restoring surgeries across Bali and other Indonesian islands, including life-changing operations for children.

Beyond surgeries, he also trains our mobile clinic teams through workshops and seminars, ensuring high-quality eye care reaches every community.
