DR BRENT ALLAN
B.D.S.(N.Z.), M.D.Sc.(W.W.), F.R.A.C.D.S F.F.D.R.C.S.(Irel.), F.D.S.R.C.S.(Eng.) Dr. Allan graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Otago, New Zealand in 1982. He gained his Masters in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the University of Western Australia in 1991. Dr. Allan is currently working as a Specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in private practice. His previous International appointments include Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Washington, Seattle and the Children’s Hospital and University Medical Centre in Seattle, USA. His previous National appointments include Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH), Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Fremantle Hospital. Dr. Allan is currently the Head of Oral and Maxillofacial Department at St John of God Hospital Subiaco. He was awarded the Medical and Optical Martin Travel Scholarship in 1997. His areas of surgical special interest include surgical correction of dentofacial deformity, maxillofacial reconstruction and advanced osseointegrated implant techniques.
