Following the tragic incident that took place at Bondi Beach, we extend our deepest sympathies to all those who have been impacted. It’s important to remember that events like this can be especially distressing for young people, who may be exposed to upsetting content through news or social media. It’s understandable if your young person is feeling distressed or overwhelmed by what they may be hearing and seeing. Encouraging breaks from media and gently checking in with how your young person is coping can help during this time.

If a young person in your life needs extra support, headspace is always here. Free support is available online, by phone or by email. Click here to learn more: https://bit.ly/453IYIv

Today is the final day of 16 Days in WA but our commitment to creating a safer, more respectful community continues!

We were proud to join the Midland March That Matters last week, hosted by the Swan Family & Domestic Violence Network, and stand alongside young people, families, and local services who showed up to play their part. These 16 days remind us that change happens when we show up, speak up, and look out for one another. Ending gender-based violence takes all of us, and young people are an important part of that change.

headspace Midland is here to support young people and help build a community where everyone feels safe, valued, and supported. If you or someone you know needs support, please reach out:
