Calm Core Collective begins on Saturday 7 February at Cafe Mojo Community Centre Mundaring, and you’re welcome to join us.

This trauma‑sensitive, evidence‑informed 4‑week yoga program is designed for adults living with PTSD, anxiety, chronic stress, hormonal changes, or anyone wanting a regular practice that feels grounding, safe, and doable.

Across four weeks, we explore:
🌿 Gentle strength + functional movement
(core, posterior chain, hips, functional transfers)
🌿 Breath‑timing + down‑regulation skills
to support emotional steadiness in everyday life
🌿 Predictable sequencing
(movement anchors → graded activation → breath integration)
🌿 Somatic awareness + simple journalling prompts
to help you understand your body’s signals
🌿 10–15 minutes of sound‑supported restorative practice
(bowls, chimes) to settle the whole system

This series is designed to help you build a functional nervous‑system toolkit you can use anytime — at home, at work, or in moments of overwhelm.

If you’re moving gently into the new year and craving a steadier rhythm in your body and mind, you’re not alone.
January can feel big — full of expectations, pressure, and noise.
So this year, I’m inviting you into something different.

A space to regulate.
A space to rebuild capacity.
A space to come home to yourself.

Regulation Collective is a trauma‑sensitive, evidence‑informed 5‑week yoga therapy program designed to support adults living with stress, anxiety, PTSD, burnout, hormonal shifts, or anyone wanting a regular practice that feels safe, predictable, and grounding.

Each week we explore:
🌿 gentle strength + functional movement
🌿 breath‑timing + coherent‑regulation breathing
🌿 nervous‑system skills you can use anytime
🌿 somatic awareness + tension release
🌿 a 10‑minute yoga nidra integration to settle the whole system

✨ Closing out 2025 in the South West, Welcome 2026 ✨

As this year comes to a gentle close, I’ve been reflecting on the moments that shaped 2025 — the people I met, the communities I supported, and the spaces we created together for rest, healing, and reconnection.

This trip through the South West felt like the perfect way to honour the year… slow mornings, grounding and cleansing ocean, and time to breathe before stepping into what’s next..

Christmas Eve can stir up a lot in the body and the heart.

Here’s a tiny regulation tool you can use anytime today:

🕉️ Equal Breath (4–4)
Inhale softly through the nose for 4
Exhale gently for 4
Repeat 5 rounds
Let your shoulders drop.
Let your jaw unclench.
Let your breath bring you back home to yourself.

We’re officially on holidays and will reopen on Saturday 10 January 2026.

Thank you to every single person who has practiced with me this year — in studio, online, in community spaces, and in sound immersions. Your trust, your presence, and your willingness to show up for yourselves has meant more than I can say. I’ve truly loved practicing, breathing, resting, and learning alongside you.

As we move into 2026, I’m looking forward to offering more trauma‑sensitive yoga therapy, nervous‑system‑focused programs, and deeper sound healing experiences. The world of yoga therapy continues to grow, with more people seeking practices that support emotional regulation, functional movement, and sustainable wellbeing — and I’m grateful to be part of that shift with you.

This past week my body reminded me to pause — through migraine, vertigo, and sinus infection. I missed my Vipassana retreat and instead ended up dealing with a family crisis while I'm trying to recover.

In Buddhism we’re taught impermanence: everything arises and passes. In yoga, we learn to listen deeply, to honor the body as a teacher.  

Sometimes slowing down isn’t a choice, it’s wisdom arriving in disguise. Rest becomes practice. Breath becomes medicine. Silence becomes sanctuary.  

I’m grateful for the kind messages and well wishes that held me in this space of stillness. Your support is a reminder of sangha — the community that uplifts us when we soften.  

In the lead up to the festive season, it helps to take small pauses where you can — a mindful breath, a quiet moment, a step outside. These little acts of presence can bring steadiness amidst the busy times ✨  

May we all remember: slowing down is not falling behind, it is returning to balance 🙏💕

Over the past few months, I’ve had the privilege of guiding three 8‑week Yoga Therapy programs for not-for-profits with
Each journey has been a reminder of the power of gentle, trauma‑informed practice to support resilience, agency, and healing.

I’m deeply grateful to the participants who showed up with courage, curiosity, and openness. Their reflections speak volumes about the value of this work.
These words remind me why I do this work: to create spaces where people feel safe, supported, and empowered.

🌙 As I look ahead, I’m excited to continue developing new offerings—like Nervous System Reset, Sleep Resilience and Nature‑Anchored Somatics—while staying rooted in the values of compassion, inclusivity, and community connection.

✨ This coming weekend I’ll be stepping away for a Vipassana retreat—two days dedicated to meditation and reflection, a nourishing pause to reset and deepen my own practice before returning to guide others. 🙏

✨ 47 times around the sun ✨

This weekend I marked another orbit — 47 journeys through light, shadow, growth, and stillness. Each year reminds me that life is not a straight line but a spiral, inviting us to revisit lessons with deeper wisdom and gentler breath.

Yoga & Buddhism teaches me that every cycle is sacred: the inhale and exhale, the waxing and waning moon, the seasons of our bodies and hearts. Turning 47 is not about counting years, but about honoring the spaces between them — the pauses, the healing, the community, the resilience.

I step into this next rotation with gratitude for the guides, connections, and quiet moments that have shaped me. May we all continue to move with compassion, agency, and presence as we circle the sun together. 🌞🌀
