🎄✨ Our Midland Support Group wrapped up the year with a beautiful Christmas lunch filled with good food, great company, and plenty of festive cheer!
We were delighted to be joined by special guest David Blacker, who spoke about all things Parkinson’s and shared insights from his new book “My Fight with PD.” Thank you, David, for spending the afternoon with us and for your inspiring conversation.

We’re proud to share that Sheree’s article has been featured in Medical Forum (page 37), where she explores the vital role Parkinson’s Nurse Specialists play in supporting neurologists, GPs, allied health teams, and families.
From home visits and assessments to education, symptom management, medication guidance, and advocacy, Sheree highlights how these specialists make an incredible difference in the lives of people living with Parkinson’s.
She also explains how Parkinson’s WA’s open referral system allows anyone to refer at any time — with early referral strongly encouraged following a diagnosis.

📚 2,446 inquiries answered through our Parkinson’s Help Desk
💬 92% of clients reported an improved understanding of Parkinson’s
✅ 100% of surveyed health professionals said our services improved client outcomes
