Call for Abstracts: Open Paper Session in Craniofacial Surgery

Plastic surgery registrars are invited to submit abstracts for the open paper session in craniofacial surgery at the Australian Plastic Surgery Congress 2026 in Perth.

This session offers an excellent opportunity to present research, clinical experience, and innovative approaches to an audience of peers, consultants, and international faculty.

Topics may include:
• Paediatric and adult craniofacial surgery
• Craniofacial trauma
• Orthognathic surgery
• Advances in reconstructive techniques

Abstract submissions are now open. Further details, including submission guidelines and deadlines, will be available through the official conference website.

Expressions of Interest: Craniofacial Section, Australian Plastic Surgery Congress 2026

It is my privilege to convene the Craniomaxillofacial Surgery section of the Australian Plastic Surgery Congress, scheduled for 1 May 2026 in Perth.

As part of the program we are inviting expressions of interest from international craniofacial units who may wish to present their work. This section will provide a platform for the exchange of surgical expertise, innovation and clinical experience amongst an international faculty of specialist surgeons.

The program will explore advances in:

• Paediatric and adult craniofacial surgery
• Craniofacial trauma
• Orthognathic surgery
• Reconstructive innovation

We welcome contributions from centres of excellence worldwide to ensure a rich, diverse and collaborative discussion that continues to strengthen our specialty.
