I am fine - I just want to warn and share my personal experiences with Occupational Therapist (O.T)

I have 3 different organisations all of not been at all helpful in providing a useful service or meeting my needs.
I had (1) O.T who when they wrote the functional report decided to add completely bizarre and random stuff - functional was done via 4 zoom meetings
(2) An O.T I saw for less than 3 months as they designed an extremely inappropriate aged program that did not meet my needs or age
(3) This third O.T was completely incompetent worked with her for less than 3 weeks was unable to do what she actually said she would do and just wasted my time - have terminated the contract as this O.T was the most current

I am able to have my support workers whom I trust to work with me and assist me to create and help me with organisational and as for mental health or emotional regulation I work on these with the therapist team I have in place that I trust to work with myself and Z

I am actively going to go and see using my own funds to go see a Physiotherapist and ask them when the time comes for them to once I check in with NDIA that I can use funds or fund myself to get a physiotherapist to write up a report

Make sure you find reputable providers this goes for therapists and support workers as these are people you have in your home , work with closely and have around your assistance animal / children

Something I have found very relaxing and rewarding this last week is making time to prioritise self-care for myself by ensuring that I do activities and hobbies I find enjoyment and relaxation. Spending time with friends and having lots of snuggles time with Z. I am also been enjoying redesigning my home space and have enjoyed doing inventory of things such as books & movies and activity I find much joy and enjoyment in doing.

Also a really yummy food which I have been enjoying for breakfast or brunch is having home made sourdough bread with nuttlex butter , Vegemite and avocado 🥑 and occasionally adding either a boiled or fried egg on top (it’s delicious and healthy meal)

I also enjoy making healthy dog treats for my assistance dog Z and healthy meals using Pet Cookbook by the wonderful Kim from 4 Ingredients cookbooks I also find these cookbooks an absolute go to for cooking my own meals
