FUDGY LIVER LOVING BEETROOT CHOCOLATE BROWNIES
Rich, chocolatey, naturally sweetened & liver-friendly - delicious served with a dollop of greek or coconut yogurt.

Ingredients

2 medium beetroot, cooked and peeled
½ cup almond meal
¼ cup organic cacao powder
¼ cup maple syrup (or honey)
¼ cup extra virgin olive oil or melted coconut oil
2 eggs
1 teaspoon natural vanilla extract
½ teaspoon baking powder
Pinch of celtic sea salt
1 cup dark high quality chocolate chopped into chunks (70%+)

Ingredients

🥣 2 medium beetroot, cooked and peeled
🥣 ½ cup almond meal
🥣 ¼ cup organic cacao powder
🥣 ¼ cup pure maple syrup (or honey)
🥣 ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil or melted coconut oil
🥣 2 eggs
🥣 1 teaspoon natural vanilla extract
🥣 ½ teaspoon baking powder
🥣 Pinch of celtic sea salt
🥣 1 cup dark high quality chocolate chopped into chunks (70%+)

Method

Step 1
Trim the ends off the beetroot and wrap them in foil. Roast at 180°C for 40–50 minutes, or until a knife slides through easily.

Allow to cool slightly, then rub the skins off (they’ll slide off easily).

Step 2
Preheat oven to 170°C fan-forced and line a small square or baking tin with baking paper.

Step 3
Add cooked beetroot to a food processor or blender and blend until completely smooth.

Step 4
In a bowl whisk eggs, oil, maple syrup and vanilla until silky. Fold in blended beetroot.

Step 5
Mix in almond meal, cacao powder, baking powder and salt (don't over mix!)

Step 6
Fold through chocolate chunks. Pour into tin and bake for 25–30 minutes, until just set on top but still fudgy inside

To help our small business run smoothly and to make sure those tummy's get the attention they need, we kindly ask:

- 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment
- You can reschedule your own booking anytime up to 48 hours beforehand via your confirmation email or our online booking link
- Cancellations made under 48 hours, or no-shows, will be charged a $100 fee
- Please arrive on time so you can settle in and enjoy your full treatment
- If you’re running late, we’ll do our best, but your session may need to be shortened to accomodate for the next client

Let’s talk about the 80/20 rule - a term that’s become incredibly popular over the last few years.

What does it actually mean, and what does it look like in our day-to-day lives?

Even though it’s usually spoken about in relation to diet, it actually applies to nearly every part of life. The 80/20 rule is a mindset that celebrates balance and creates a lifestyle with room for imperfection.

80% is your structure: the habits that support your vitality, digestion, sleep, goals, energy, and overall well-being.

20% is your flexibility: the meals, plans, and choices that remind you you’re human - and that a little messiness is completely okay.

When you apply this rule across your whole life (not just your plate), you stop bouncing between extremes and beating yourself up when things aren’t 100% optimised.

A fresh gut-loving salad to brighten your week 💚✨

Hydrating cucumber, fibre and protein-rich chickpeas, and a hit of fresh herbs to support digestion, reduce inflammation, and keep your gut feeling light, happy and satisfied.

Gut Loving Cucumber, Herb & Chickpea Salad - Serves 4 🥗

Ingredients 🍴

Salad:
4 Lebanese cucumbers, thinly sliced
2 cans chickpeas, rinsed and drained
½ red onion, thinly sliced
1 cup fresh parsley leaves
½ cup fresh dill
½ cup fresh mint leaves

Dressing:
4 tbsp tahini or ½ cup Greek yoghurt
4 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp honey or maple (optional)
1–2 garlic cloves, minced (optional)
Salt + black pepper
Water to thin as needed

Method:

- Place cucumber, chickpeas, red onion, parsley, dill and mint into a large bowl.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together tahini/yoghurt, lemon juice, olive oil, honey/maple, garlic, salt and pepper. Add water slowly until the dressing is creamy and pourable.
- Pour dressing over salad and toss gently.
- Serve immediately, or chill for 20 minutes to let the flavours develop

So good to accompany meat dishes and is always hit when brought to shared lunches or dinners!
