RECIPE OF THE WEEK 🥕✨
Raw Carrot Salad

Raw carrot fibre helps bind excess oestrogen metabolites in the gut and support their elimination. Having raw carrots regularly can reduce endotoxin load (inflammatory LPS) by improving bowel transit and gut microbial balance. By supporting bowl movements, it indirectly eases the burden on the liver and helps our hormones regulate.

Better motility + better clearance = less bloat, more regularity, and steadier hormonal rhythm💧

Why this recipe is awesome:

🥕 Raw carrot fibre → provides insoluble fibre that helps sweep the bowel and support regular elimination
🍎 Apple cider vinegar → gently stimulates stomach acid production
🫒 Olive oil → encourages bile flow (essential for fat digestion + toxin clearance)
🧂 Sea salt → provides chloride, a building block for stomach acid

Ingredients:

• 2–3 large carrots, peeled into ribbons (use a julienne peeler for the best thickness)
• 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• Big pinch of quality sea salt
• Squeeze of lemon
• Optional: Sesame seeds & chopped parsley

Toss. Let sit for 5–10 minutes. Eat as a snack or add to any meal - best eaten sitting in the sun absorbing vitamin D - also keeps well in the fridge!

The clinic catching fire wasn't part of my 2026 vision board, but here we are 😅

I won’t lie, I’ve been feeling all the feels since having no choice but to close the clinic and wait for all the necessary updates. Stress, overwhelm, doubt, missing my clients, all the things.

But this time away from the clinic has made me realise how much I really needed this forced pause. To rest, reset and lean into being still.

I want to say another big thank you to you all - for your patience, your messages, your kindness, and your understanding. It means the world to me and I can't wait to see you all again 🤍

Stay tuned for our re-opening date, hopefully just on the horizon.

With the new year just around the corner, let's take a moment to celebrate the wins you’re proud of, the moments that stretched you and that you overcame, and all the in-betweens.

New years (in our minds) isn't about pressuring yourself to set grandiose goals, but to take a step back and a big breathe in and getting clarity on what lights you up and keeps you moving forward.

Thank you for trusting us with your healing, your growth, and your bodies this year.

FUDGY LIVER LOVING BEETROOT CHOCOLATE BROWNIES
Rich, chocolatey, naturally sweetened & liver-friendly - delicious served with a dollop of greek or coconut yogurt.

Ingredients

2 medium beetroot, cooked and peeled
½ cup almond meal
¼ cup organic cacao powder
¼ cup maple syrup (or honey)
¼ cup extra virgin olive oil or melted coconut oil
2 eggs
1 teaspoon natural vanilla extract
½ teaspoon baking powder
Pinch of celtic sea salt
1 cup dark high quality chocolate chopped into chunks (70%+)

Ingredients

🥣 2 medium beetroot, cooked and peeled
🥣 ½ cup almond meal
🥣 ¼ cup organic cacao powder
🥣 ¼ cup pure maple syrup (or honey)
🥣 ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil or melted coconut oil
🥣 2 eggs
🥣 1 teaspoon natural vanilla extract
🥣 ½ teaspoon baking powder
🥣 Pinch of celtic sea salt
🥣 1 cup dark high quality chocolate chopped into chunks (70%+)

Method

Step 1
Trim the ends off the beetroot and wrap them in foil. Roast at 180°C for 40–50 minutes, or until a knife slides through easily.

Allow to cool slightly, then rub the skins off (they’ll slide off easily).

Step 2
Preheat oven to 170°C fan-forced and line a small square or baking tin with baking paper.

Step 3
Add cooked beetroot to a food processor or blender and blend until completely smooth.

Step 4
In a bowl whisk eggs, oil, maple syrup and vanilla until silky. Fold in blended beetroot.

Step 5
Mix in almond meal, cacao powder, baking powder and salt (don't over mix!)

Step 6
Fold through chocolate chunks. Pour into tin and bake for 25–30 minutes, until just set on top but still fudgy inside

Rich in antioxidants and magnesium, helping reduce oxidative stress on the liver and support energy metabolism.

Extra virgin olive oil / coconut oil
Healthy fats stimulate bile release, which helps the liver clear fat-soluble toxins.

Eggs
Provide choline and amino acids that support liver detox pathways and fat metabolism.

Dark chocolate (70%+)
Contains polyphenols that support antioxidant pathways when used mindfully.
