RECIPE OF THE WEEK 🥕✨
Raw Carrot Salad
Raw carrot fibre helps bind excess oestrogen metabolites in the gut and support their elimination. Having raw carrots regularly can reduce endotoxin load (inflammatory LPS) by improving bowel transit and gut microbial balance. By supporting bowl movements, it indirectly eases the burden on the liver and helps our hormones regulate.
Better motility + better clearance = less bloat, more regularity, and steadier hormonal rhythm💧
Why this recipe is awesome:
🥕 Raw carrot fibre → provides insoluble fibre that helps sweep the bowel and support regular elimination
🍎 Apple cider vinegar → gently stimulates stomach acid production
🫒 Olive oil → encourages bile flow (essential for fat digestion + toxin clearance)
🧂 Sea salt → provides chloride, a building block for stomach acid
Ingredients:
• 2–3 large carrots, peeled into ribbons (use a julienne peeler for the best thickness)
• 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• Big pinch of quality sea salt
• Squeeze of lemon
• Optional: Sesame seeds & chopped parsley
Toss. Let sit for 5–10 minutes. Eat as a snack or add to any meal - best eaten sitting in the sun absorbing vitamin D - also keeps well in the fridge!
