Red & Yellow Day β Wear the Colours. Fly the Flags. Save Lives.
On Wednesday 4 March, Surf Life Saving Australia is launching the first ever Red & Yellow Day β a national celebration of the iconic colours that represent safety, community and saving lives on our beaches.
Whether youβre a business owner, employee, teacher, surf lifesaving club member, or simply someone who loves the coast, thereβs a place for everyone on Red & Yellow Day.
By wearing red and yellow, donating, fundraising, or even taking the step to join a surf lifesaving club, you can help support the vital work surf lifesavers do every day and acknowledge their role in keeping our beaches safe. Together, we can help turn the tide on coastal drowning.
We encourage our Trigg Island community to get involved, wear the colours with pride, and help spread the message by sharing the Red & Yellow Day video far and wide. Every action β big or small β helps back our surf lifesavers and raise awareness of the importance of beach safety.
