🌊 Welcome Back, Ocean Heroes! 💚❤️🤍

We’re stoked to have@oceanheroes returning to Trigg Beach this Sunday for another incredible day of surfing, smiles, and community spirit! 🏄‍♂️✨

This weekend will see 117 neurodivergent participants hitting the waves alongside 60+ amazing volunteers — creating an inclusive, supportive environment that celebrates the pure joy of surfing for everyone. 💙

Richard is the kind of volunteer every club dreams of — reliable, hardworking, and always ready to lend a hand. From setting up carnivals and helping with equipment to supporting events and jumping in wherever needed, he’s an absolute powerhouse within the surf sports crew. 💪

His positivity, teamwork, and commitment behind the scenes make a massive difference to the smooth running of our events and the success of our athletes.

Ready to take the next step in lifesaving? Trigg Island SLSC is running an IRB Crew Course this November — the perfect way to level up your skills, boost patrol capability, and join the powercraft crew on Our Island! 💪

📅 Dates: Sundays 9, 16 & 23 November 2025
🕖 Time: 7:00am – 10:00am
📍 Where: Trigg Island SLSC
💻 Plus: One theory session (TBC)

👥 Eligibility:
Open to members aged 15+ who hold a Bronze Medallion.
Complete the IRB Crew eLearning module via hub.slsa.com.au before starting.

🌊 WRAP UP: Western Suns State Selection Carnival 1 – Trigg Beach 💚❤️🤍

While the wild weather forced the cancellation of water events last weekend, our beach crew made the most of it — delivering outstanding performances and doing Trigg proud! 💪

Our small but mighty team — Giaan Versace, Trent Yates, Olivia Kuscevic & Joshua Fazari — smashed it on the sand, finishing an incredible 3rd overall! 👏
