We’re thrilled to welcome Rose to the Rosie Disability Services team! With over 18 years’ experience in community services, including supporting participants as an NDIS Plan Manager, Rose brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for empowering participants, promoting inclusion, and making a meaningful difference—especially within CALD communities.

Known for being fun, compassionate, and people-first, Rose builds strong, trusting relationships and ensures supports are delivered with heart and professionalism. We’re so excited for the impact she will make with our participants in 2026 and beyond.

We’re thrilled to welcome Juliet to the Rosie Disability Services team! With over five years’ experience in disability, mental health, and case management, Juliet brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for empowering participants to navigate the NDIS and broader support systems with confidence.

Her calm, warm, and practical approach means she builds strong, trusting relationships and ensures supports are coordinated and meaningful. We’re so excited for the impact she will make with our participants in 2026 and beyond.

🎄 Holiday Wrap-Up from Rosie Disability Services 🎄

Thank you! To our participants, families, carers, and everyone who’s trusted us this year — we see you, we appreciate you, and we really mean it 💛

This year has been full of stories, milestones, and moments that remind us why we do what we do. And as much as we love being there for our participants, we know it’s important to press pause, breathe, and spend time with the people who keep us going.

So here’s the plan:
📅 We’ll be closed on 25 & 26 December, and 1 January
During this time, our responses may be slower than usual as our Coordinators enjoy some well-earned rest, family time, and maybe a sneaky mince pie (or two).

We also want to acknowledge that the holidays aren’t easy for everyone. For some, it’s a time of joy — for others, it can be a bit heavy. Check in on your friends, neighbours, and loved ones. Send a kind message, give someone a call, or simply show up with a smile. It matters. And if you or someone you care about needs a little extra support, help is always available:

We’re thrilled to share that a new Support Coordinator with over 15 years of industry experience will soon be joining our team.

When we first met Sam in August 2024, he was feeling unheard, socially isolated, and unsure who he could trust. He only had 1 therapist in place at the time and weren't really making a real difference for him.

We knew Sam deserved more! 💛

✨ With his goals and strengths at the center, we:
✅ Helped him build a routine that worked for him and gave his days more structure
✅ Connected Sam with an alternative Occupational Therapist and Exercise Physiologist who listened and tailored supports to his needs
✅ Completed a specialised driving assessment and secured plan funding so he could start learning to drive 🚗
✅ Built a trusted team of support workers around him for ongoing encouragement, connection and community access
✅ Helped Sam secure a volunteering role at Scitech—a huge step towards his employment aspirations! 🌱

Now, Sam is exploring employment opportunities, including with the Bureau of Meteorology, because we believe the sky is the limit for our participants 🌤️

This is why we do what we do at Rosie Disability Services—walking alongside participants to dream big and achieve goals they didn’t think were possible 💪
