Bridging the gap between office and field.

This week, members of our office-based team visited several sites to gain a deeper understanding of the environments and conditions our field personnel work in each day.

These visits provide valuable perspective and help strengthen collaboration between our office and site teams, ensuring we continue to work safely, efficiently, and with a shared appreciation for the challenges and achievements across all areas of our operations.

Today, our team proudly celebrated Loud Shirt Day in the brightest, boldest, and loudest shirts we could find – all to raise awareness and support for children who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Last week, some of our team members had the incredible opportunity to attend the Women in Mining WA (WIMWA) Summit — a day filled with inspiration, connection, and powerful conversations about leadership, growth, and the future of the mining industry.

From standout keynote speakers to engaging panel discussions, the summit was a fantastic platform to celebrate the achievements of women across the sector and reflect on how we can continue to support meaningful progress.

Your Life On Site, Through Your Lens 📸

Last month in celebration of World Photography Day, we ran a photo competition especially for our crews in the field. We wanted to see the moments that mattered most to them out on site – whether it's a sunrise over the rig, workmates lending a hand, a snapshot of their favourite part of the job, or the little things that make site life special.

All hail the mighty Rig 1!

After nearly two decades of service, our inaugural and original Rig 1 has officially clocked off and returned to Perth for a well-earned retirement on August 7th.

Since kicking off its journey in 2005 at the Tropicana project—330km northeast of Kalgoorlie—Rig 1 has worked tirelessly across WA. It’s been the training ground for countless drillers and offsiders, logged thousands of hours, and even scored a few paint jobs along the way.

From supporting early water bore training and licensing at Rocklea Station, to finishing strong with the crew at one of our current projects, Rig 1’s legacy is built on hard work, resilience, and a tonne of dedication behind the scenes.

Huge thanks to our maintenance team for keeping her running all these years!

The rig that started it all — Rig 1, you’ll always be part of the Ranger story.

NAIDOC Week 2025

This week, we proudly celebrate NAIDOC Week, a time to recognise and honour the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

This year’s theme, "The Next Generation: Strength, Vision and Legacy", celebrates not only the achievements of the past but the bright future ahead, empowered by the strength of our young leaders, the vision of our communities, and the legacy of our ancestors.

As part of our celebrations, some representatives from our office attended the soft launch of the Ballajura Community Garden yarning circles — an inspiring space for connection, storytelling, and cultural learning. We’re proud to support this initiative with a $1,000 donation to the Community Connecting Youth Inc - Living Art Garden (LAG) program, helping to support this important community project.

We also came together today for a morning tea, complete with NAIDOC-themed cupcakes and a fun, educational quiz to test (and expand!) our knowledge of First Nations history and culture.

We are committed to listening, learning, and walking alongside First Nations communities — not just this week, but always.
