Seasons moments like this are something special ❤️

Our Seasons Team had the pleasure of coming together at Bathers Beach House in Fremantle, a stunning waterfront venue, made even better by an awesome team of people and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Days like these remind us how important connection is… not just in the work we do, but within the teams that support families every day.

We also took a moment to recognise someone truly one-of-a-kind, Ed, who turns 80 in a couple of weeks. Ed joined Seasons at the “ripe young age” of 68, and in the years since he has become exactly the kind of person every family hopes to meet in a difficult time: calm, capable, generous with his time, and always willing to do whatever it takes to care for others. He’s an incredible funeral director, a wonderful teammate, and genuinely loved by all.

Happy early birthday, Ed, and thank you for the care you bring to Seasons, every single day. ❤️

Last night at Seasons Lake Joondalup, we held a heartfelt Christmas Memorial Service hosted by Diana Stevenson. It was a gentle space for our community to pause, reflect, and remember the people who should be sitting beside us this season.

The room was filled with warmth, candlelight, and a shared understanding that grief can feel especially close at Christmas.

We’re grateful to everyone who joined us, and to those who took a moment to honour a loved one in their own way. It was a beautiful reminder that remembrance doesn’t have to be loud to be powerful, sometimes it’s simply being together, holding space, and saying their name.

A sincere thank you to our volunteers who supported the evening with such care:

Seasons Cockburn held a quiet and intimate Christmas Memorial Service, a gentle space for families and friends to pause, reflect, and remember the people they carry with them into this season.

It was a beautiful turnout, and we were truly moved by how appreciative everyone was for the opportunity to share a moment of remembrance together, filled with warmth, soft conversation, and the kind of calm that comes from being surrounded by others who understand.

A heartfelt thank you to the team who generously volunteered their time and care to support our guests throughout the evening:

This week at Seasons Balcatta, we gathered for our Christmas Memorial Service, a gentle evening of remembrance, reflection, and togetherness.

For many families, the festive season can be a time when grief feels a little louder. Nights like this create space to pause, to honour a name, to light a candle, and to feel supported by others who understand that love doesn’t end, it simply changes shape.

This week, we welcomed someone very special to Seasons Redcliffe, Maple, a calm, gentle little companion who has already stolen every heart that’s walked through our doors.

Maple belongs to our Funeral Director, Georgia Holman, and just like her mum, she has a natural gift for bringing comfort. Whether she’s curled up quietly in her bed, sitting patiently beside Georgina’s desk, or greeting families with those soft, curious eyes, Maple’s presence brings a sense of warmth and ease to our space.

Grief can feel heavy… but sometimes, the smallest moments of connection can help soften the day, a wagging tail, a quiet cuddle, a reminder that care comes in many forms. ❤️

On Friday, our team at Seasons had the privilege of supporting a family as they lovingly laid their treasured one to rest at the peaceful Lakes Memorial Cemetery in Mandurah.

Surrounded by natural bushland, soft breezes, and the quiet stillness that only nature can provide, the service was heartfelt and serene. Every element, from the readings to the floral tributes, came together in a way that honoured a life deeply cherished.

We are truly humbled each time a family entrusts us with such an important moment. It is our honour to walk beside you, to create a space of comfort, dignity, and gentle care, and to ensure that your loved one’s story is honoured with grace.

To the family we supported on Friday, our thoughts remain with you. May the beauty of the setting and the love shared at the graveside bring you strength in the days ahead. ❤️
