💗2025 Impact 💗
This year, we were able to support 77 patients with cold-capping therapy, helping reduce hair loss during chemotherapy 💫

Chemotherapy-Induced Alopecia (CIA) is one of the most distressing side effects of treatment, a visible reminder of cancer that can affect self-image and wellbeing. Thanks to the generous donation of cold capping machines, our patients have access to scalp cooling, the only clinically proven method to help prevent CIA.

Scalp cooling works by lowering the temperature of the scalp before, during, and after chemotherapy, giving patients one less thing to worry about as they focus on their recovery. 💗

Family history can play a role in breast cancer risk, which is why understanding your genetics, knowing the signs, and having the right conversations early matters. Our latest pamphlet helps families understand risk, screening options and when to seek advice, empowering loved ones to take proactive steps for their health.

Breast cancer is common and affects 1 in every 8 women. Only 5% of breast cancers are thought to occur due to family history.

From 2016 to 2026 ⏰ Back then, we were just beginning to start our support programs and connect with our community. With familiar faces from our dedicated staff, the support of long-time champions, and the introduction of our first cold capping machine, we are so grateful to our 2016 patients, supporters, and staff for helping lay the groundwork for the support we are able to provide today 💗

Australia’s PBS expanded access to life saving treatments, giving patients more options, earlier interventions, and lower out of pocket costs.

� New therapies like Truqap and expanded access to Kisqali
� Continued support for Olaparib for HER2 negative metastatic breast cancer
� PBS co payments will be further reduced from January 2026

This year, over 600 appointments were provided at no cost to patients and families. We expanded our clinical psychology support program and remain proud to offer bulk billed support, ensuring care is accessible when it’s needed most.
