15 minutes in the sauna can indeed mimic light cardio as your heart rate naturally rises to cool your body.

Even with my low resting heart rate, I hit 102 bpm… while literally just sitting. That’s a solid cardio response without a single step taken and compliments the daily exercise I undertake.

If cold plunging isn’t for you, heat therapy alone provides a wealth of health and wellbeing benefits.
