The Hawaiian Ride for Youth 2026 has raised an incredible $2,113,250 in support of Youth Focus and young Western Australians!

While the end of this year’s Ride looked a little different, we extend our sincere thanks and congratulations to our riders, support crew, sponsors - including our naming rights partner, Hawaiian - supporters, and everyone who played a part in making the 24th annual Ride such a success.

Together, we are making a meaningful difference and helping young Western Australians thrive 💙❤

The Inland Peloton had a sneak peak at the soon-to-be headspace Manjimup (Youth Focus Manjimup) as they passed through town yesterday.

The Hawaiian Ride for Youth is just one of the threads that connects us to the Warren Blackwood community, with the peloton passing through each year. It was great to see our Manjimup team meet the riders and Support Crew after their 200km day, and join them on their visit to Manjimup Senior High School where they talked with students and staff about mental health.

There was as extra special welcome for Ben Rose, Shire of Manjimup CEO, and Jason Giadresco, Shire of Manjimup Director of Development Services, who are tackling their first ride!

Thank you Bevan Eatts MLA for joining us for the afternoon and being so supportive of our work in the Warren Blackwood Region.

The Wheatbelt peloton rolled into Horsepower Highway today, taking a well-earned break from the bike to connect with the community.
Distance shouldn't be a barrier to mental health support - but for many young people in regional WA, it still is.

Through the CBH Group Regional Mental Health Program, we provide telehealth support to ensure young people in the grain-growing regions have access to ongoing support. And thanks to Rio Tinto, we now have a Community Based Mental Health Specialist on the ground - offering more intensive support for young people and their families across a number of upper Great Southern communities.

By now, the Riders will be back in Katanning recovering and preparing for another big day on the bike tomorrow.

It was great to be invited to the CBH Group 2026 Annual Sundowner, celebrating the achievements of WA grain growers and the strength of our regional communities.

CBH supports Youth Focus through their Regional Mental Health Program, enabling us to provide telehealth mental health support to young people living in the Wheatbelt, at no cost to them or their parents.

Living in rural Australia presents significant barriers to accessing support. Through our ongoing partnership with CBH, alongside strong connections with local schools and the use of telehealth, we are working to make support more accessible and available for young people in the region.

We are grateful for the continuity of this partnership, which has allowed us to continue to connect young people with professional mental health support, whenever and wherever they need it.

Andrew and Sarah joined fellow local service providers at the second Greater Bunbury Youth Mental Health Forum last week. It was a fantastic event, creating valuable opportunities to connect with local young people, share practical wellbeing tools, and highlight the support services available to them.

A big thank you to Blue Leaf Initiative and the youth steering committee for once again bringing the event to life. Building on last year's energy and enthusiasm, this year's forum once again brought out community together for conversations around mental health, leadership and youth empowerment.

headspace Geraldton started the year settling back into their newly refurbished home at 193 Marine Terrace - the location of Geraldton's new Youth Mental Health Hub.

This welcoming, purpose-built space has been designed to support young people and families in the region by bringing a range of mental health and wellbeing services and support together under one roof.

The redevelopment of the Geraldton Hub has been proudly supported by a generous Lotterywest grant, and our expanded service offering has been made possible through our committed partnership with The Stan Perron Charitable Foundation and the WA Primary Health Alliance. We are so grateful for their commitment to youth mental health in the region.
