Wrap up of Retreat No.5 at Moondyne

Each Retreat has it's own unique flavour.  This September - "Delight in Spring - Align - Release" was especially memorable!  Our group really bonded over our first dinner and many parallels and connections were made.  Six first time ladies and 6 returning, including a Mum and daughter which is always special! 

Our host Chef Danielle truly outdid herself this time with the most delicious meals!  The cold misty mornings gave way to glorious sun drenched days, an absolute delight! 

As usual our Yoga sessions were full and varied: Hatha, Yin, Partner Yoga, Feldenkrais and various relaxation techniques, breath practices, mantra, mudra, EFT tapping, and a favourite - Yoga Nidra.  I invited Kat Gregory to treat us with a Crystal Bowl Sound Healing session, along with Vanessa from "Only-Vous" offering massages and Winnie and Dee on hand for Seikhem Egyptian Reiki and hydrating facials.  Everyone embraced the activities offered in our Retreat Booklet, including creating a flower pot to plant new seeds of intention and the wonderful culmination of releasing into the fire, that which is ready to transmute and make space for more joy in our lives!

The countryside was so lush and the greenest I have seen it, with water flowing in the Avon tributary, cool and fresh. September and Djilba really is a spectacular season in the Chittering Valley! 

I have booked again for 25 September weekend 2026 and already have bookings - please let me know if this sounds good to you.

Wrap up of Retreat No.5 at Moondyne

Each Retreat has it's own unique flavour. This September - "Delight in Spring - Align - Release" was especially memorable! Our Story

Yoga Bliss is your sanctuary in Perth's northern suburbs! My name is Andrea Freeman, the founder of Yoga Bliss, I have been teaching yoga for nearly 20 years and I am also a Life Coach, Ayurveda Lifestyle Consultant, Indian Head Massage specialist and purveyor of organic herbs and spices.

Bringing warmth and light to each weekly yoga class; chair yoga, hatha yoga, gentle beginners’ and candle lit yin yoga overlooking the ocean. Classes are held in Kingsley, Sorrento and Mullaloo.

My style of teaching is holistic, including physical postures, mindfulness techniques, breathing practices, visualisation and meditation. I also love to include the transformative teachings of the Yoga texts to brings real transformative tools to help you to thrive in today's busy and often stressful world.
