Crossways community services, Armadale Rotary club, Armadale sporting club alongside our valued sponsors community bank Roleystone-Karragulyan Bendigo bank and our Volunteers to help make this day happen are holding a Christmas sit down dinner.

If you know anyone that is; homless, lonely, spending Christmas by themselves, a family that might not be able to afford to do a nice Christmas dinner we would like to come together and share a Christmas dinner with you.

We will be doing a 3 course meal

Hot soup with a bread roll

Christmas roast dinner

Desert

We will have some entertainment
Cool drink each is provided
We will be handing out care packages
And lollie bags

If you know someone that would like to attend our Christmas dinner I will be handing out tickets starting from the 8th December till 18th December please come see Mel at crossways community service kelmscott 225 railway avenue

I have 100 tickets to hand out.

This Australia Day long weekend 2025 Dart's competition open to all players
Teams of 4 $80 entry any team combination welcome .
The Armadale darts handicap system will be used. Teams need to be nominated by 7:00 pm this Friday night 24th January please to Corey of Dylan King. Darts start Saturday 25th January and Sunday 26th January at 12 noon so no early starts.

Hello members the Dart's club have asked us to post some information for them, so if your interested in playing dart's please read the post below.

As of the 17th,18th & 20th of September the club will be open for practice before the start of the summer season.
Mens Tuesday night starts on 8th of October,
Ladies Wednesday night starts on the 9th of October,
Mixed Friday night starts on the 11th of October.

On the first night of each comp if teams can be at the venue by 7:00pm so that we start on time 7:45pm.
Looking forward to seeing everyone at the windup and playing next season till then keep safe and may your dart's ever be in your favour.

Members and friends of the sporting club family. It's with a heavy heart that I inform you of the passing of our member and friend and long time supporter of the Club Mike Bayliss who sadly passed away recently. Mike was one of those members who would do anything to help anyone from any division, he collected ring pulls from the cans for medical use ( for making artificial fingers etc). To his family we give our sincere condolences and pass on our prayers to you at this difficult time. Our friend Mike rest in peace 🕊️✝️

The board of directors and members off the Armadale Sporting Club would like to wish Leonie Kearing Wilkes good luck in the upcoming Miss NAIDOC Perth , Leonie your always a pleasure to be around and an inspirational young lady.

Meet our Miss NAIDOC Perth 2024 finalists!!

Leonie Wilkes, a 25-year-old Nyoongar woman from Perth, Western Australia, proudly identifies with her Whadjuk and Binjareb heritage. Born into the Wilkes/Davis and Kearing/Corbett families, Leonie's upbringing reflects the rich cultural traditions of both Whadjuk and Binjareb Country, with her father's roots in Whadjuk land and her mother's in Binjareb land.
Currently serving as an Administration Coordinator at Karla Kuliny Aboriginal Corporation, Leonie is deeply involved in community activities, drawing inspiration from strong Aboriginal leaders. Through her family business, she has contributed to various initiatives, from teaching traditional dance and language in schools to providing cultural awareness training and supporting survivors of domestic violence.
With a passion for performing deeply ingrained since childhood, Leonie has been dancing traditional Nyoongar dances since the age of five. While she loves to dance, her true aspiration lies in singing. Raised to embrace her culture from a young age, Leonie is determined to instill confidence in future generations to openly celebrate their Nyoongar identity. She sees herself as a conduit for passing on Nyoongar histories, protocols, language, and dance, ensuring that her culture remains a cherished part of her life and is shared with younger generations.
Applying for opportunities like this is a way for Leonie to develop her leadership skills and provide encouragement to others seeking to reconnect with their culture. Guided by her confident and outgoing family, she aims to make them proud and empower others to embrace their Indigenous heritage with pride.
