A simple, nourishing meal idea from our naturopath Bec 🥗

This Mexican-style salad is quick to put together and full of whole food ingredients to support overall wellbeing.

Serves 2

• 1 tin red kidney beans

• leafy greens (lettuce, spinach or your choice)

• 2 tomatoes (or cherry tomatoes)

• cucumber

• 1 avocado

• 60g feta (or cheese of choice)

• paprika, salt, pepper & olive oil

Optional: corn or roasted sweet potato

Why Bec loves it:

Red kidney beans provide plant-based protein, fibre and important minerals like iron and magnesium.

Avocado adds healthy fats and fibre, while tomatoes are rich in antioxidants and vitamin C.

Sound Meditation at Akana Wellness's Loft 63

🗓 This week - Thursday 12th at 7pm & Sunday 15th at 2pm
Cost: $25 (concessions $20)

Join us upstairs in the loft for sound meditation, a simple practice of sound and vibration designed to calm the mind and support deep relaxation.

Using crystal singing bowls, gong and traditional instruments, these sessions may help ease tension and promote wellbeing. You don’t need to know how to meditate, just arrive, settle in, and let the sound guide you.

Sessions are facilitated by Christina, an experienced Sound Meditation practitioner, Reiki Master and Reflexologist.

What to bring (optional):
✔ yoga mat
✔ Blanket & pillow
✔ Eye mask
Or anything that will help you feel comfortable. We do have spare items.

Please arrive 10 minutes early.

The upstairs studio has one flight of stairs.
