MediTrain have been contacted by an employer looking for staff. The position is part time in Canning Vale. Previous students are encouraged to read on and apply only if they are local to Canning Vale and keen to work in General Practice.

COVID-19 Update -
As we are recommencing in class courses for Medical Reception and Pharmacy Assisting, it is a requirement that all students undertake the below training prior to their first day. We have completed a COVID-19 safety assessment and as part of this we require all people who will be in attendance to assist by participating in the required training.

NOTE - We recommend that all students undertake the training attached as provided by the COVID-19 Department of Health prior to commencement of course. Previous students can also undertake the training as professional development or to enhance their resume in these challenging times.

This 30-minute online training module is for health care workers in all settings. It covers the fundamentals of infection prevention and control for COVID-19.

UPDATE - COVID-19 INFORMATION: Based on the Prime Ministers latest information release and the relaxation of some restrictions - MediTrain are looking to schedule in class courses for the Medical Reception Course, Pharmacy Assistant Course and Genie Software Course to commence in May/June. All course dates will be posted on the MediTrain website by close of business Wednesday 29/04/2020. You can view the site and dates at www.meditrain.com.au

In the interest of health and safety for all our students and staff, all classroom-based courses will be capped at no more than 9 students. This will mean that the courses will book up quickly, so please feel free to call to check on current vacancies.

All students who attend will be required to complete a Health Card and undergo a temperature check prior to admittance unto the training room. If you have booked a course date and become unwell, please contact the staff to arrange transfer into a later course date or transfer to Online - Correspondence learning.

COVID-19 INFORMATION: Based on the Prime Ministers latest information release, and in the interest of health and safety for all our students and staff, all classroom-based courses will now be delivered via flexible learning. This will include a mix of live scheduled sessions on Zoom, where students can participate just as if they were sitting in the classroom and self-paced learning with extensive support with trainers via phone and email throughout their learning. Course outline details and a schedule for the Zoom sessions will be available soon and will be posted on the website and the MediTrain page.

The successful candidate must have:-

A High standard of communication skills
Previous experience within a health environment.
Experience with Medical Director and Pracsoft.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a friendly team.
High attention to detail and the ability to prioritise your workload.
This is a part time position but the candidate must be flexible to cover holiday and sick leave.
