As I prepare materials to be delivered in the mindfulness program at a local University, I dig through my archive and found this video.

It was not too long ago that both my mother and grandmother's death anniversary has passed. So is the time to reflect on impermanence.

In one podcast, Zen Buddhist monk Brother Phap Huu mentioned how our relationship with loved ones are impermanent.

In fact, every thing in life is subject to change: our relationship with friends, relatives; our job; our health...even our emotions, we might happy this moment and feeling sad and miserable the next. The thought of losing a loved ones is painful, yet, impermanent. Our thoughts change, from day to day, moment to moment. And this bring forth my deepest gratitude, to have 2 women who have walked the earth with me and cared for me.
