Hot For Yoga WA's only Bikram Hot Yoga south of the river. We are home to the have a go attitude Beginners welcome Holly

I want to dispel any preconceptions that you need to be crazy fit, or super young, or a yoga freak, or have abs of steel or perfect balance or wear the latest and greatest yoga fashions, to try and enjoy Bikram Yoga. My goal is to create a space where people can just ‘be’ and can engage with this practice in their own time and at their own pace. That’s why I am putting it all on the line to make my vision, ‘Hot For Yoga’, a reality. Hot For Yoga - the only pure, Bikram Yoga studio south of the river in Perth, based in Cockburn Central near the new Fremantle Dockers stadium. Not only will the studio be home to Hot For Yoga Bikram classes, but it also accommodates associated wellness services. All in all it will create an activated, welcoming space that can be used by more than just Bikram students. Our 26 By 26 In ‘26 Challenge is officially underway!

According to the numbers:
✨ 68 students doing the challenge
✨ 2,652 hours of yoga to be completed as a community
✨ 18% already done (yes, we’re warming up 🔥)

Stepping back onto the mat after months (or years) away can feel… humbling 😅🔥

Balance wobbly. Flexibility missing. Confidence taking an unexpected day off.

I just shared a new blog about exactly that — what it really feels like to return to Bikram yoga after time away, and why you’re not starting from zero, even when it feels that way.

After walking 833km across Spain on the Camino del Norte, I realised Bikram yoga had been quietly preparing me long before I left.

After the walk though, when I walked back into the hot room… and reality arrived quickly 🫠

This post is for anyone who’s:
✨ taken a break
✨ feeling nervous about coming back
✨ worried they’ve “lost it”
✨ waiting until they feel “ready”

Spoiler: you don’t need to be ready.
You just need to show up.
Gentle consistency > intensity
Curiosity > judgement

What a joyful Hot For Yoga Christmas party last Sunday! It was so lovely to see so many of you come along, soak up the good vibes, and celebrate together. Huge thank you to our catering team and to Donna, Connie, and Louise for the absolutely delicious treats. 😋💛
