What makes Base Aesthetics different isn’t just the treatments we offer - It’s how we approach them.

We don’t believe in a one size fits all approach or chasing trends.

Every treatment is guided by a consultation first, where we take the time to understand your features, your concerns and your long term goals.

Our focus is on subtle, considered results that feel aligned with you.

Because when treatments are tailored properly, less often becomes more.

If you’ve been looking for a more personalised approach to aesthetics, we recommend starting with a consultation with one of our experienced practitioners.

Think IV therapy is just expensive water?
It’s a common misconception, but the difference lies in how nutrients are delivered and absorbed.

Oral supplementation requires digestion, where absorption can vary depending on individual factors. Intravenous administration bypasses the gastrointestinal tract, allowing nutrients to enter circulation directly.

For certain nutrients, this may result in higher bioavailability compared to oral intake. However, IV therapy is not one-size-fits-all and should always be guided by clinical assessment.

At Base Aesthetics, every treatment begins with a consultation to ensure it is appropriate, considered and tailored to you. If you’re curious whether IV therapy is suitable for you, we recommend coming in for a consultation to explore our IV menu 〰️

Understanding volume loss.

As we age, changes in skin, fat and underlying facial structures can alter the way the face is supported. These changes often present gradually, impacting overall facial balance rather than just one specific area.

At BASE, treatments are approached with a focus on structure, proportion and subtle refinement. Every plan begins with a personalised consultation to assess your individual anatomy and determine what is appropriate for you.

Your 40s are a pivotal decade for skin.

This is the time where collagen decline becomes more noticeable, skin quality begins to shift, and supporting the skin both internally and externally becomes more important than ever.

In this post, Nurse Jo shares her non-negotiables for skin in your 40s, focusing on a strategy that prioritises long-term skin health rather than quick fixes.

From daily cosmeceutical skincare, to advanced in-clinic treatments and the role lifestyle factors play, a thoughtful and consistent approach is what helps maintain skin quality over time.

Every skin journey is different, which is why a personalised consultation is always the best place to start 〰️

New at BASE Aesthetics — Virtual Consultations with Nurse Jo.

If you’ve been curious about aesthetic treatments but haven’t quite felt ready to step into a clinic, this is a beautiful place to start.

Our virtual consultations allow you to connect with Nurse Jo from the comfort of your own home, ask questions, and gain a clearer understanding of how treatments work and what options may be suitable for you.

Please note, virtual consultations are designed as an introduction and educational conversation, and do not replace the in-clinic consultation that is required prior to any treatment.

A slightly chaotic couch session with Nurse Ebony and Nurse Nat.

In this Q&A, we’re chatting about consultations and why they’ve become more important than ever in aesthetics. With the recent changes to TGA and AHPRA guidelines, the focus has shifted even further toward personalised assessment, patient education and treatment planning.

While social media can be a place for inspiration, a consultation is where the real conversation happens. It’s where we take the time to understand your concerns, assess facial anatomy and skin quality, and determine what approach may be appropriate for you.

No two faces are the same, which means no two treatment plans should ever be identical.

If you’re thinking about starting your aesthetic or skin journey, the first step is always a consultation with one of our experienced nurses so we can discuss your goals and guide you through your options.

For educational purposes only. A consultation and individual assessment are required before any treatment recommendations are made.

March at Base Aesthetics

A new month in clinic and a continuation of the treatments and skin philosophies we believe in most. Personalised care, considered treatment plans and a long term approach to skin health.

AquaGold Wednesdays with Nurse Nat have become our midweek skin ritual, designed for those wanting to support hydration, luminosity and overall skin quality.

Friday Refresh with Nurse Ebony offers an end of week moment for subtle, considered aesthetic treatments, always beginning with a personalised consultation and a treatment plan tailored to you.

We are also pleased to welcome Skincare Doctor Direct to the clinic. This prescription skincare range allows for a more targeted and individualised approach to skin management when appropriate.

As always, every treatment and recommendation at Base Aesthetics begins with understanding your skin and anatomy first.

Hey! I’m Bridget, founder of Base Aesthetics. So, a little about myself...

I graduated my bachelor of Nursing degree at Deakin University in Melbourne 11 years ago, and started my nursing career in anaesthetics and recovery. After a a couple of years in the OR my direction changed and I commenced my Aesthetics career, and have now specialised solely in cosmetic injectables for over 7 years. Throughout this time I have had the privilege of learning from some of the worlds most esteemed cosmetic practitioners. Continuous self development and education is essential in this ever evolving industry, and I keep my skills and knowledge up to date by attending regular trainings, as well as interstate and international educational conferences.

Years of experience and training has taught me that cosmetic injectables should not be obvious or over the top. I believe a conservative approach is essential to keep fresh, and natural looking results. I pride myself on my natural approach to cosmetic treatments. Patient safety and their overall well being are my number one priority. I want my patients to feel safe, and have complete confidence that I have THEIR best interests at heart. Cosmetics to me is like art, and my patients are my canvas. Each and everyone is unique and beautiful. My aim isn’t to change the way a persons looks, it’s simply to enhance the beauty they already have.
