Companion Card WA The WA Companion Card program assists in promoting the existing right of people with disability to receive fair ticketing for access to venues and events.

The WA Companion Card program has been developed to promote the existing right of people with disability to receive fair ticketing for access to venues and events. The Companion Card is a card issued to people with a significant and permanent disability who require attendant care support from a companion to participate at most venues and activities. Cardholders present their card when booking or p

urchasing a ticket from a participating business. Participating businesses who recognise the Companion Card will issue the cardholder with a second ticket for their companion at no charge. The program was launched in April 2006. The Companion Card Program in WA is managed by National Disability Services (NDS WA) and is supported by the State Government of Western Australia through the Disability Services Commission and Lotterywest. They meet monthly with a program of interesting speakers — a lovely option for people around City Beach and neighbouring suburbs who enjoy learning and good conversation.

🌊 Welcome Geraldton Yacht Club – Our New Companion Card Affiliate!

We’re excited to welcome Geraldton Yacht Club to the Companion Card community! Located right on the stunning Geraldton foreshore, the Club offers Friday and Sunday meals with beautiful ocean views.

They also run an inclusive Sailability program, giving people with disabilities the opportunity to enjoy sailing at social and recreational levels.

Plus, the Club has multiple venue spaces available for hire for events of all kinds.

Scitech is hosting a Low Sensory Session on Saturday, 28 March & 27 June. The centre opens early at 8 am for a calmer, quieter experience with fewer crowds, as well as a special planetarium show at 9.30 am.

Gather your family and friends and grab a picnic rug and enjoy an outdoor screening of A Minecraft Movie as the sun goes down.
