Did you know that a few decades ago yoga was largely practiced by men? 👨

Classes were often longer, stronger and more physically demanding. In fact, one of the most well-known styles — Ashtanga Yoga — was originally designed with male practitioners in mind. It’s a powerful, structured practice that builds strength, mobility, focus and endurance.

Yet today many men still think yoga “isn’t for them”.

The truth is, yoga can help men:
• improve mobility and flexibility
• build functional strength
• recover from sport and training
• reduce stress and tension
• improve breathing and focus

Yoga isn’t about touching your toes — it’s about building a strong, resilient body and mind.

Thank you to every beautiful woman who joined us for Awaken Her Within. 🤍

Your openness, vulnerability, and willingness to soften, feel, and be truly seen created such a powerful and nurturing space. Each of you brought your own unique energy, story, and heart into the room, and together it formed something incredibly special. It was a deep honour for us to hold this space and witness the courage, tenderness, connection, and authenticity that unfolded throughout the day.

There is something profoundly healing about women gathering in a safe and supportive space — slowing down from the pace of everyday life, dropping out of the mind and back into the body, and remembering the wisdom, softness, and strength that already lives within.

Moments like these remind us how powerful it can be when we pause, open our hearts, and reconnect with ourselves and with one another. We are so grateful to have shared this experience with you. 🤍

Every Yoga Pose Has Its Own Energetic Blueprint 🧘‍♀️

Asanas aren’t just about how they look — they’re about how they feel. Patanjali says: “Sthira‑sukham āsanam” — a posture that is steady and easeful. It’s not perfection; it’s balance in body, breath, and mind.

Each pose influences the flow of prana, your life energy. Forward folds calm, backbends energise, twists release tension, and balances cultivate focus. Proper alignment matters, but the true practice is the awareness and energy you bring into the pose.

✨ Next time you practice, ask yourself: What do I feel? How does my energy move?

Yoga is an inner science — the shape supports the experience; the feeling is the real practice. 🙏
