Silence – other than in Gaslighting
My concern, is the apparent current, pronounced expression of the use of silence, as Gaslighting behaviour. While this is most certainly a possibility, in my considered professional opinion, it is really so, so important for us to seek clarity when a person is silent and ask why, because they may not be gas lighting at all. This is particularly important with understanding from a psychological perspective, because silence helps facilitate introspection, it is a process that aids in self-discovery and the cultivation of self-awareness. Periods of silence can offer the opportunity to reflect on one's experiences, thoughts, and feelings, promoting greater emotional understanding and cognitive clarity.
